The staff spoke very rudely to me.The manager said he didn't care.I am very disappointed.I hope you do something with the staff because you can't talk like that to a customer who just wanted to order something. Next time he can hit me.I am very disappointed with your services.

Typically quaint pub. Nice man at the counter. Prices are really ok. A pizza and Guinness about £15. If you're looking for something to do in the area in the evening, it's certainly a good choice.

Peter , Darren and Ruby top quality bar staff and the venue is amazing too. Great music , good drinks and atmosphere. Best pub I've been to in East London in a while.

I recently visited your pub last Friday and had an extremely disappointing experience with the bartender. From the moment we walked in, the bartender was unfriendly and seemed annoyed by our presence. When we approached the bar to order, he ignored us for several minutes despite there being no other customers waiting.
When we finally got his attention, he was incredibly rude and dismissive. He made us feel unwelcome and acted as if serving us was a huge inconvenience. We visit the pub every Friday night because of the garden and you guys serve the best Guinness out here. I had never had this experience and never expected to. The bartender with a cap and an Italian accent, I suppose, was very rude. He filled up our Guinnesses 3/4 and the rest was all foamed up. I went back to ask him to fill the glass up because I did not pay for having 70% of the beer obviously. He totally ignored me and told me to my face that I have to adjust with whatever I was served regarding the quantity.
Another bartender who was a bit older was very kind enough to fill it up. The older bartender was very polite since our arrival and treated us like valued customers. The other bartender with the Italian kind of accent was visibly upset by this and teased the older bartender very badly in front of all the customers. I really felt bad for him. The next time we ordered, we had our beers filled up by the older guy, who perfectly filled our glasses up. I mentioned to the rude bartender that 'this is how we wanted the beers'. At that instance, he came out from the till up to my face saying 'I will throw you out if you say something like this here after.'
Later when we went to the entrance for a smoke, he came out to pick a fight with me. As he was really close to my face and speaking, with him showering his spit all over, I asked him to move a bit back. He then spat on my hand. I was all ready to have a fight, but even me acting all unprofessional is not going to make a difference between me and him. He told me that he is the owner of the pub and he is throwing us out and not welcoming us hereafter. And I have no plans to visit you guys hereafter too.
I know this is not going to make any difference but would be great if everyone came to know about that bartender. But if so, I would really appreciate it.

My boyfriend and I have just moved to the area and I visited with my parents Wed 3 July 24. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, the food was delicious and the inside and beer garden have been decorated with care. A lovely spot that we hope will turn into our local for years to come!

The space looked lovely and garden is set up really nicely. I just popped in for drinks with my partner and the dog, sadly the disco lights and very loud music ? has put me off returning. I hear the pizzas are nice but would need confidence it is not a party night to come back here ?
