We went to The Pickle Factory on Saturday night. Firstly; good soundsystem & good dancefloor. The rest leaves a lot to be desired, they cut the main DJ’s performance short (1 hour roughly) with no explanation. There was still many punters left dancing. This was very disappointing. The music was great, but the experience with security is very unpleasant, more intense than the airport, expect to have anything vaguely liquid taken away including nail polish!Also very expensive, £8.50 for a spirit mixer!
The Pickle Factory is a small but perfectly formed nightclub, tucked away in a cul-de-sac in Bethnal Green.
The club is built around its sound-system, a 6 point state of the art D&B Audiotechnik system within an acoustically engineered room.
Pickle also features a Cocktail Bar, and Canvas, a 400 cap room next door which is readily available for private hire.
Since 2015, Pickle’s stood as the last in the tradition of grassroots small East London venues, dating back to our original inspiration, Plastic People.
At weekends, our centrepiece in-house programme focuses on deeper strains of electronic music, spanning all styles, rhythms and textures.
During the week, all three of our spaces are available for hire, private and public.
