Really nice pub style restaurant. The food was really tasty. Enjoyed the grilled prawns, smoked trout, angus tartare, grilled fish and grilled angus rump.

Booked a table for Christmas Day for a party of four, two of the party are vegetarian which was explained to the serving waiter. Main Food came out at different times and the waiter was blaming the kitchen, seasonal veg had bacon on which we explained was not mentioned on the menu , waiter took this back and we waited for more seasonal veg but came out with more potatoes and veg again with bacon. We could see there were issues with other diners, whole day was a bit shambolic to be honest and we had to give this feedback to the manager whom with all due respect to him agreed with us and apologised and said we would only be charged for the wines we had ordered.Such a shame as we were looking forward to spending our Christmas Day there and thought from reviews it would be memorable in a positive way.

Usually very busy but I managed to go in when it was a bit less so. It has a lovely set of tables and chairs.Food & drinks: Great range of beers, including the London Pride.

Went for Sunday roast and it was good - the pizzette and the squid were delicious as well (though the beets salad was average). Good service and beautiful setting. Definitely a pub worth going to!

We were there for a wedding. There wasn't enough food for everyone. When I told the member of staff she didn't care. When I mentioned to the staff that meat was not cooked enough he just laughed and removed it, no offer to cook it some more. It was cold location. Overpriced beverages in the bar. Very

Despite booking a week in advance, and a confirmation call, it looked like our booking had been missed. We were sat in sperate room that was insufficiently heated, had a wobbly table with a sticky surface. Food arrived alarmingly quickly, even before the wine. Beef was great however everything else was disappointing ? rock hard potatoes, dry Yorkshire Pudding, tasteless gravy. We were returning customers as the previous experience had been fantastic, this was the complete opposite.

I stayed at The Orange because it is in the location I needed to be and because I have stayed here before albeit in a different (bigger) room. The rooms need seriously upgrading - they are tatty and worn. The curtains are all frayed and faded. The aircon/heating is unbelievably noisy and kept me awake most of the night. The shower has black mould in the grout and the wood is all black and grimy. There were no bedside lamps, no Nespresso pods for the machine and only normal tea bags - no selection. There was an ironing board and iron, hairdryer and lovely Shower and Shampoo gel - 100 Acres - which smells divine. I'm sure when it first opened it was good but they have taken their eyes off the prize and have let it deteriorate. I stayed in the Barnabas Room. Not good.

Great food, appalling service. Took them 15 minutes between courses and 10 minutes to get me a second glass of wine. Had to ask more than once. Waiter explained they were ?very busy?. Well, it?s a restaurant, early Saturday evening. So the service gets worse the busier they get? Hmmm. Worse when the defensive restaurant manager tried to tell me it is ?illegal? to sell a rare or medium rare beef burger, his excuse for delivering a dry, overcooked one which I?d ordered ?rare?. My UK favourite is Quod in Oxford and several places in London. It is not illegal, it simply requires very good beef and kitchen management, certainly possible for the £19 charged at The Orange plus the fries were an extra £5!

We just had dinner with our family. The tagliata was quite bad as the meat was hard and not tasty (covered by sauce in the hope nobody would notice). The burger were average and very cooked like in any UK pub. On the positive side the pizza was delicious, so was the crumble and the service was excellent.

Super spot in a very special London enclave. Typically British with a traditionally cool aesthetic. Buzzing, vibrant, immaculate. Would come again for sure!

LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!!! The room was so incredibly cozy and designed and decorated perfectly. This is the quintessential place that you think of when you think of staying in London in a room above a pub, but it is that plus being extremely elevated! The check in process was so easy and Barnaby was so helpful and amazing through it all! When we come back to London next year, we definitely plan on staying here and spending more time in the area because there?s so much to do and see because it is perfectly located in London between Chelsea, Kensington, and Belgravia. Also, the food at the hotel was really good! The pizza is definitely a must try and the ambience in the whole area that you can sit and eat is incredible. The pub really lights up at night and so many people love to just show up and grab a beer and it is such a great crowd because it is a lot of young professionals that live in the area. I couldn?t recommend this place enough!!
