While visiting UK from US and in London my husband took a fall on the wet pavement, smashing his eyeglasses. We found the Optical Studio not far from our hotel. his glasses were repaired at no cost and I regret having lost the name of the woman that helped us. This was the end of September. The rainy weather and fall were brightened up by the care we received. Grateful for professional and kind people in London!

Excellent service and experience. Staff take time to explain options but are not pushy. Extremely thorough, helpful, knowlegable and very pleasant staff to deal with. Very fast turnaround both for new complete glasses and new lenses in existing frames. Individual independent practice and it shows in a positive way. Have been going for several years and will continue to do so

Initially, I was disappointed that as a disabled and housebound resident this local opticians declined me a home visit to take some measurements for new varifocal Transitions lenses that I required.However, a change of heart has seen this business excel themselves by visiting me at home four times in total to make sure I get the best possible varifical Transition lenses fitted to my Ray-Ban Wayferer frames.I have received what I can only describe as a top class, personalised service from the manager Siobhan who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.I have appreciated the care and attention this business has shown me, and very happy with the quality of the product and service they have provided.I think this opticians has learnt some things about serving and being accessible to local disabled customers from this process, and hopefully appreciated the custom I have put their way as these lenses were not cheap.After a rocky start I am very happy to highly recommend this local opticians The Optical Studio

I highly recommend the reassuring (free) eyesight assessment provided by The Optical Studio. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. There was no pressure selling and whilst their glasses are rather more expensive than the huge chain stores, I believe it's very important to obtain real professional advice and an accurate prescription with quality glasses.
