This pub is in Kennington. Our pubs in Paddington seemed stuffy and pricey. This was our first experience in a British pub and feared breaking decorum. Nick was so warm and accommodating. This pub has improved incredibly since I was last there, 5 years ago. Super friendly, chatty staff who make you feel welcome. Great food. Awesome cider. Highly recommended

Very quiet Saturday lunchtime. Barman very friendly. Menu has nice variety. Food tasty and competitively priced.
