Beautiful old pub .. in fact the oldest in a London in Rotherhithe on the Thames. Closed to station as well as Cumberland Wharf where the pilgrims set sail for American in 1620. The area is full of history as well as the pub. You are transport to a different world. We got a good table outside by the river. Staff is efficient and helpful. We ordered the fish platter which was excellent and very traditional. They had herring roll which was very nice ( first time I tried this). Delicious fried prawns ? , salmon and tuna. Simply delicious ?. Drinks were good. Great atmosphere. Would love to come back did Sunday lunch.

Great local pub for Sunday roast or small plates style food. The anchovies bruschetta was my favourite. Outdoor terrace is great for some river views even better at sunset. Friendly environment!

This is the pub with the saddest goldfish I?ve seen ever ?. This fully killed the vibe

Wonderful ambient and the best fish and chips in whole London and that for a fair price. A must visit for everyone in London.

The staff here were very friendly. I stopped by at the end of a long day in the city and had a very nice meal. I had a fantastic duck liver starter. The steak was delicious. The chips were triple fried and some of the best I?ve ever had. The pub is lovely. Well worth a trip here if you?re in London for a visit.

This is a must see site for history lovers. This is the pub-under a different name 400 years ago where the Mayflower docked. After docking here it went off to Portsmouth and then Plymouth, and after a few false starts the Mayflower eventually made it to the New World.
Check out the back of the pub and you can see that you?re right on the River Thames. So if you?re anything like me, you don?t come in here and expect great food and service. You come for the atmosphere of this historic location. But yet you will find yourself a fine selection of beers and spirits. We had a delicious fish platter as an appetizer and the service was friendly.

Definitely recommended for a dinner! One of the best pubs in London

Came here for a few drinks, and it was a movie. They have Estrella Galicia on tap, a great heavy blonde that will fill you and please you. And surprisingly great Guinness comparable to the most quaint alleyway pubs in Ireland. And I didn?t even bring up the views from the deck. Recommended

Took a risk as we didn't know the area, found a beaut of a pub. Great food and drink, well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Popped in for a drink and not show the kids one of the oldest pubs in London. Love the interior which just oozes character and the terrace is a great spot to watch the river traffic.

It was the experience we hoped for. We drank Pims before dinner on the deck looking over the Thames River, then Lucy our server informed us our table was ready. She was awesome! We discussed our genealogy research and let me sign the Mayflower desendant visitors book. The food was awesome. I had the rib and my wife had the salmon. Thanks Lucy, you made it an awesome dinner experience!!

Wonderful & historic pub facing the Thames. Good cask ale selection, didn't try the food although it was packed and the food was very popular! Very dark, but wonderful atmosphere.

Love the pub, general atmosphere, and have been coming for a couple of years, but drinks quality/price have left me feeling disappointed overall, and I don't think I'll be coming back again.
Visited today and bought a pint of Estrella, and a pint of lime and soda, which came to £9.90. The lime and soda was two slices of lime without cordial, and was completely flat. I asked the bartender if they'd be able to check on the gas and pour a replacement, which they kindly said they'd bring over to me - this didn't happen.
Aside from one of our party being left without their drink, it seems pretty tight to charge £3 for a glass of plain soda water, especially without any visible price list for your drinks.
