The Good Care Group should be renamed The Excellent Care Group as that is exactly what they provide. I needed respite care at the last minute for my husband as he was discharged from hospital on the day I was due to go on a much looked forward to holiday. Despite being last minute, the preparations were completed in a professional, calm and comprehensive way. The help and advice I was given demonstrated that he was in experienced hands. Being able to access the daily notes meant I was reassured, felt in touch and could relax. I would definitely recommend and use again, if the need arises.

This was my first experience of having live-in care, and it proved to be an exceptionally happy one from start to finish.It was a perfect match of carer and client and my recovery was greatly helped during the four weeks. The admin work throughout was always efficiently and pleasantly carried out.All in all, an experience I would hope to repeat.

We have received the best possible care and attention from The Good Care Group from the minute I contacted them some time ago for help. We now have a lovely caring and kind Carer looking after my elderly brother who has a number of health issues and also my sister in law who is relieved to have such an able and caring 'friend' living in. Nothing is too much trouble with Grace driving my brother to appointments, hospital, shopping etc.... and she is also a very good cook which means we know they are both being well fed! As a family, we highly recommend The Good Care Group and we are so grateful that we can depend on them for all the care needed.

Our experience so far with The Good Care Group has been excellent. The staff were efficient, helpful and constantly resassuring during a very stressful period. The carer provided has been kind, thoughtful and professional throughout, settling my aunt back at home seamlessly.

I have a friend with dementia and visit him often. Many of his carers do not give him the best care but, by far the best carer was from The Good Care Group, Helen. She made sure that my friend got out of bed for breakfast, sat with him in conversation and discussing his late wife with him, taking him for walks and showing him nature in the garden. Very impressive.

I have used The Good Care Group twice for respite care pending organising permanent live-in care with them. They have been marvellous, I cannot fault the service they provide. I feel happy that Mum is getting an excellent level of care and I consider Mum has thrived in their very capable hands. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I have found the Good Care Group to be 100% effective and professional. There are cheaper solutions but none better. They really make sure their carers are first class and monitor the process constantly. The supervisors have a good knowledge of the situation in each household and check on it regularly. The carers we have are so good that I now consider them family friends.

After over 2 years without respite, I was so in need of a break. I was directed to The Good Care Group by a local company who use them for live-in care breaks. From start to finish, everyone was very understanding and professional about setting everything up, with all aspects covered as regard to my husband's needs. He has advanced dementia, so no longer able to express his wishes. The carer was wonderful, very friendly and calm as she got to know him. I felt confident that she would cope with him as I left the next day for a much needed break with my son and family. We had some video calls to keep in touch and any queries I could answer by text. I came back feeling refreshed, not needing to be "on duty" for 6 days. This has taken a great weight off my mind about finding suitable care for respite and can look forward to planning my next break now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Good Care Group. So glad I found you.
