Fraudulent activity on the membership card. Purchased my membership card at the Gate Nottinghill cinema 2 days ago and activated my card online that same evening. I noticed that 2 tickets were missing on the card, so I contacted customer services who notified me that two tickets had been used and my card had been used for purchases of wine and a slapup meal. I had used my card once on the Monday so it was not me. Customer services had given me back the 2 tickets. They will contact 'The Gate' Nottinghill cinema as to the fraudulent activity. Best to check your membership card on a regular basis because tickets could be fraudulently removed from your membership card.

Opened in 1911, still functioning properly. A neat theatre with a classic and timeless design.

Nice big fluffy seats with tables for food and drinks. Good selection of movies. Sound isnt that good but the vibe makes up for it. Unique small tiny female toilet ?

A unique room, rich in beauty and history, which broadcasts quality art-house cinema. What more can be said.Ticket prices are a bit high but worth it, support these great little venues that still survive.

Best cinema in London. The most authentic. Most interesting films. Kind staff. Great membership deals. Comfy seats. Full of history and finger on the pulse of film.

We are currently experiencing problems with our heating system. It may be chilly inside our auditorium, or we may close if we feel it gets too cold. Keep an eye on our website and our social channels for up-to-date information.

?I don?t like cinemas that promote hyper-sexualised society, especially when I have to walk by with my little kids and especially when a primary school is just around the corner. You should be more careful with the posters you stick on your display visible to kids of every age. Disappointing! I?m not longer a customer.

The flat floor means if you have someone tall in front of you, you have the back of someone?s head taking up the middle of the screen. The toilets are gross and are located in the screen room so you have a steady stream of the doors opening and closing next to you. The paint is peeling off the ceilings and the floorboards creak when people walk around. Some may find this quaint, I just found it distracting. If you are near the back you are a very long way from the screen. For £30 for two adult tickets I?d actually prefer to watch it on my phone.

One of It?s kind, beautiful cinema that shows many classic movies, not that crowded on weekdays, it also has a mini bar.

I was in London in 1969 and lived down the road from the cinema on Norland Square near the Holland Park Tube Station. I'm fairly sure your cinema must have been where I'd regularly see movies during the three months I lived there. The movies being shown were not first run but recent classics like 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf' and 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.' Am I right?

Lovely cinema but I went to a showing of 2001: A Space Odyssey and the volume was so loud that it hurt my ears. Many people went up to complain and they did turn it down to a just about bearable level but it was still too loud. Disappointing.Edit: I have been in many cinemas before and the sound is not loud enough to deafen you. The sound was unbearably loud during this film and was turned down halfway through (either that or I got ear damage) Super disappointing response.

Very cute old cinema that seems to be well-maintained and keeps a lot of its heritage. The seats were comfy with nice tables in between. The staff was helpful and the bar serves very nice popcorn. Ticket prices were reasonable, not cheap but not very expensive either. We haven?t tried the bathrooms as other reviews mention the bathrooms are a downfall. My main point is that during the movie it started with subtitles for the first 10 minutes then they restarted the movie without subtitles. For a 3-hour movie with a lot of events, characters, and details, having subtitles is really important to be able to keep track. Other than that everything was nice!

I love Picturehouse, but this one is a miss for me. It?s just the one screen, relatively small, and the room is way too long for the screen size. I was in row G and anything further than that would make it feel like living room telly imo.

Honestly, just a really cool place. This is a go-to spot for my friend and I for movies! Definitely a theatre you should experience.
