Just the perfect place for dinner. Wonderful relaxed setting, great ambiance and the team are fab!? Nothing is too much. Lamb dishes are melt in the mouth as well as lobster, chicken menus. Prawn starters are first class. Huge variety on the menu so you will be spoilt. You will not want to leave?

Certainly is an elegant dining experience. The food is amazing, fresh and delicious, service it?s 10 out of 10. They have a very great menu to accommodate everyone?s needs with a long list of wines :). However, for a push restaurant atmosphere a bit noisy ?? to my liking, the piano wasn?t consistent throughout, and you could hear other people also a table for 2 (round tables) is very small for posh dining.

The food and service were great, especial thanks to Robert, but the noise from the kitchen was really annoying and I asked for a new table after I told them it was too noisy,

The Foyer & Reading Room is a restaurant at Claridge's, a prestigious hotel where Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress stayed during their recent visit to London.
Claridge's Hotel, one of Britain's most prestigious hotels, opened in 1856. Renovated in the late 1920s to an Art Deco design, this hotel is now known as the ``Art Deco Jewelry Box,'' and is loved by royalty and celebrities from around the world, giving you a sense of British class and elegance.
"The Foyer & Reading Room" is a restaurant that is located right in front of Claridge's Hotel. The first thing that catches your eye as you enter is the Dale Chihuly chandelier decorated with 600 pieces of Venetian glass.
Not only the restaurant, but also all the interiors leading from the entrance hall of the hotel are so gorgeous and elegant that you will feel like you are in a palace. Also, the uniforms and behavior of the staff are so nice that it feels like you've wandered into a movie.
First, as soon as I was guided to my seat and sat down, I was asked, "Which newspaper do you read?" I answered "TIMES," but, uh, I thought it sounded like an intellectual to say "Financial Times" here. I regret it a little because I thought it was cool.
However, I, a commoner, came alone to this hotel, where all the people in this space were so elegant that I thought they were from the aristocracy.
[Today?s Course] Sunday Lunch £100 (drinks not included after meals)
Although it wasn't written on the menu, the first thing that came out was freshly baked bread. It's chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, and it's absolutely delicious when eaten with the butter that comes with it! It was so delicious that I ended up eating a lot of bread before the main dish came out. It was probably one of the most delicious breads I've ever eaten.
?Smoked Salmon
? Thick and large smoked salmon served with fluffy and creamy crème fraiche, probably homemade. There's a bit of grain mustard and pickled shallots on it. It also comes with soda bread.
It went perfectly with the champagne and the Chablis I ordered in the middle!
?CLARIDGE?s Sunday Roast
?Sunday roast that can only be eaten on Sundays!
Sirloin grilled medium-rare, roasted cabbage and carrots, cauliflower cheese (like gratin), roast potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding.
Quite a rich lineup
Well, all of them were very carefully prepared, and the sauce on the sirloin was not too rich, but it had a deep flavor.
And what impressed me was the roast potatoes. First of all, I was surprised by the size, but the outside was crispy and the inside was moist and fluffy, bringing out the sweetness of the potatoes to the fullest.
All of the garnishes were so delicious that by this point I was extremely full.
Since it was meat, I paired it with Rioja red wine.
?Melted Chocolate Dome
?This dessert is said to be the most popular. When you pour warm praline sauce onto a dome-shaped chocolate, the waiter will demonstrate the dome melting right in front of you.
This goes well with red wine, and it was also very delicious when paired with the red wine I mentioned earlier. However, I was still full and couldn't eat it all.
?Petit fours
?The petit fours that came with the last tea. Three types: financier, truffle, and pate de fruit. Everything was delicious!
?Earl Gray Tea
?This restaurant is very famous for its afternoon tea.
So, to finish off the meal, I had a cup of Earl Gray black tea with a refined bergamot scent.
The restaurant space is so luxurious that it will make you feel like you are in a movie.
The food, wine, dessert, and tea were all delicious, and I left Claridge'

My sister and I had afternoon tea here earlier this month and had a wonderful experience. We were both apprehensive going into the experience, because it was a little out of our comfort zone, but we had such a good time.
I hate that I cannot remember our server's name (young, blonde, vaguely James Acaster looking) , because he was truly the best part of the experience. He matched our energy perfectly and managed to be both charismatic and informative.
In terms of food and drink, we liked that there was a huge variety of things to try. We particularly enjoyed the Claridges Blend, the chicken sandwiches, the scones, and the red fruit tarts.
We would definitely come back on a return trip to London!

My daughter (who is a new mom with a 5 week old baby) took me to afternoon tea at Claridges for Mothers Day. The food was superb. We especially liked the ham sandwich and the Gruyère truffle (which was their special of the day). We each tried 2 different teas - all were excellent. The best part of this experience was the service. It was the best service we have ever experienced. Marius was our server. He spent time with us -not just telling us about the food but even the history of afternoon tea! Claridges is lucky to have a server that is charming, attentive and gracious and who provides excellent customer service. He helped make it an enjoyable Mother's Day for us. We even got a pot of mini daffodils on our way out for Mother's Day!!

Had a breakfast with the wife at the The Foyer & Reading Room and it was a luxurious and tasty experience. Ordered the Shakshouka, Severn & Wye Smoked Salmon, Buttermilk Pancakes and a selection of Charcuterie and Cheeses. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Portion sizes were good. The cheese and charcuterie were rather minimalistic in terms of selection, expected more variety. The atmosphere is luxurious and you can feel the history of the room. Service was mostly good, a bit slow, could be more attentive. Bill wasn't cheap obviously but this is to be expected.
