Lovely location, lovely service but portions? starter with fried aubergines was literally one skinny slice of aubergine with shop bought pickled ginger. As a chef I would be embarrassed to serve one skinny slice. 3 would be acceptable.

Stopped in for a fish and chips on a sunny Sunday. The food and service were excellent. The roasts looked good too, I'll be back.

Went on a Sunday for the second time in a year. On both occassions, the menu was so small and half the items were not available (sold out), so we could not find anything that all of us liked, so we had to leave. The last occassion, left me with a £60 drinks bill for 6 of us . Nice location on a sunny day, but very pricey and not worth it.

Can only speak for the food (as we don't drink) but the food here was truly awful. This is our local and we'll never return again, it was that bad. I can't in good faith recommend this place. However the riverside location is excellent! Perhaps a place you might want to sit outside and have a pint. Just don't order food.
