For a pub, this is 5 Star. We have been to probably 10 pubs this trip, and this was our favorite. We didn't get food at every pub, mostly beers. highly recommend this 2 person pie sampler. No picture, but we have had fish and chips at 2 other pubs, this was our favorite. Service was good, and unlike many other pubs, there was a server who took order at the table. (For drinks only, still order at bar) By the way, a stroll down this street after a visit is a nice walk.

Best pub out of our 6 day stay in London. Best fish and chips that we tried in UK. Service was amazing.

The prices are acceptable. There is a restaurant on the ground floor that serves breakfast included in the price. The rooms are small and on a lively street. In general, they are acceptable.

Cozy pub with tasty food. I wanted to order the pie with lentils and mushrooms, but unfortunately it was gone. I then opted for the nut roast and it certainly did not disappoint. The dish was served with vegetables, a delicious cauliflower dish, Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes and a very good gravy. The roast itself consisted of nuts and was quite tasty. Some notes were just too loud unfortunately. Friendly staff. Very pricey; I paid around ?27 for just a main course.

Very nice rooms, brand new, super pub, very nice. Top location (earls court subway 20 m away). Lovely!

Nice pub with good atmosphere, getting a table may be a bit difficult without reservation.
The staff were very friendly, music was just to my taste (Smiths, Siouxie, ...) and - what is important - was not too loud, so that one could easily understand and get understood.
The food was excellent, so was the beer. Prices are at the "usual level", a Sunday roast dish cost just above £ 15, a pub classic around £ 12.
Update 2024: back here, prices have gone up (like elsewhere), and the menu has changed, but still in love with this place. Excellent!

Stopped here for a quick pint and some food! Reasonable prices and the food was lovely! Would certainly come back. Seems like it would have a good atmosphere when it?s busier. I had the burger and it was decent, better than what you get at a green king etc!

We made a reservation to watch the match. We sat comfortably with our child and watched, the atmosphere was very enjoyable.

Over priced for pub food. A pint of beer and a pie with chips 27 pounds is a bit rich.

Good service! The fish and chips are great, and it's a large portion, bus they allowed us to split the meal. I also had a summer cocktail (a spiced rum mojito) that was really good! I would definitely eat here again.

Everything was great, loved service and food! It was a repeat many different days! Breakfast, lunch dinner and drinks!
