We were a group of 10 - mixed adult and children who wanted to meet up somewhere central. The Bear and Staff couldn't have been better located. We were given a table upstairs along with our own member of staff who was friendly, efficient and unobtrusive - just right. We had a variety of dishes from the main menu and all were served at the same time, were freshly cooked and all were delicious - particularly the rib and brisket pie. We cleared our plates - always a good sign. I would definitely recommend the Bear and Staff.
