The pub itself is beautiful and has a really lovely atmosphere, but unfortunately the food doesn?t quite live up to it. The presentation felt a bit careless, the burgers in particular looked as though they?d just been placed on the plate without much thought. For the price, I expected more attention to detail and quality. With some improvements to the food, this place could be fantastic. Come on Chef!

Came here twice. First time service was good, but food was subpar - quite expensive for what it was. Second time one of the staff was rather short when telling us the garden was closed after we arrived (21:30). Not the friendliest pub but a decent atmosphere.

Absolutely loved it here! We found it by accident and stayed for hours. Service from Ariana was fantastic, food was gorgeous. Will definitely come back

Contrary to the other reviews I thought the staff were brilliant. The staff and the garden are the best things about the place. The food was really crap. We had roast dinner, the meat was flavourless, the vegetables bad, potatoes so dry and rubbery. Don?t even get me started on how bad the cauliflower cheese was. It?s a shame because the venue itself is really nice.

Our 2nd dinner in this pretty Georgian building gastro pub. Friendly service, nice dinner menu with good-quality offering. The dry-aged bavette was tasty if a bit too salty.
We did not have a reservation but were able to be seated immediately when it was for food.

We had a wonderful evening with family and friends. The garden is so beautiful, definitely the best pub garden in Islington! The staff were helpful and friendly and the food delicious. Thanks a lot!

A classic hangout for Islington's glitterati, the Albion thrives in the summer because of its front terrace.
It's on a quiet side street away from the traffic fumes and on both my visits it's been packed. The back garden is pretty full too.
Inside there's what looks like a very old pub, especially the low ceiling dining room. However given the residential location it might be a converted Georgian house.
The bar room at the front of the pub is a relatively cramped space but there are small tables facing it and around the side. There's more space across the pub's central aisle with larger tables and a fireplace.
The beer here's all pretty mainstream but once you get past the crowd outside it's a decent place.

The pub has a very nice outdoor area and the staff is polite and attentive. We got the chicken and lamb roasts which were delicious.

Love this pub, it has good food and a great atmosphere + backyard, but their portions are crap. Most are fine, but a £24 chicken skewers main came with one skewer. It was a bit pathetic and we provided this feedback.
