This place was my home away from home while staying in central London. The location is absolutely perfect, especially if you're going to see any shows. It's easy walking distance to so much with a lot of great eating options. Very close to multiple public transit options as well.
The rooms are clean, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've had while staying at a hotel. I loved that even though I was staying in busy London, the room was quiet and cozy.
The staff were helpful, friendly, and professional.
If I had any complaints, it's that the lifts can get quite busy and crowded since there are only 3 for such a large hotel. But there was easy access to the stairs too.
Also be mindful that if you're booking this hotel for laundry services, the prices are exceptionally steep. I ended up going somewhere else for laundry.
Overall, though, I would most certainly stay at The Strand any time I come to London.

My best friend and her colleagues stayed there for three nights, and when she showed me her room, I was stunned - it had no windows at all and was more like a unique capsule than a typical hotel room.

Excellent location, staff friendly and great rooms. Perfect base for playing tourist. Multiple tubes stations within few minutes walk making it easy to get around, and lots of sights etc within walking distance

There?s a Bus Stop directly opposite and Charing Cross station and Covent Garden station are each 500 meters away, makes getting to whole of London so easy

One room wasn?t ready when we arrived which was a bit annoying as we had to wait up to nearly an hour. Although we?re given a drinks voucher.
Location was perfect for us as we went to see Back to the future
Only thing in the rooms were we found the pillows to soft but that is just our preference.
Breakfast had lots of choices and the allergy board was really helpful. We had a lovely stay.

The room is cute, AC works well, nice shower, location is impeccable. One downside is my coffee machine which didn't work, and another is that they charge a deposit upon booking and then you pay for your stay at check in and THEN you get the deposit back. As a non-refundable I'd rather just pay it all at booking and not having to remember whether I had paid or not at check in.
