I've been with this family optician for over 30 years, since I was a student in Newcastle, first with David's dad and now David. I've followed it round its various locations over that time. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I am so pleased it is in this lovely new store. Professional, reliable, high quality care and expertise. And a lovely, friendly team.

They saved my UK trip! I ordered glasses shortly before leaving home so I didn't have time to adjust them before coming over. I walked in and asked if they could do an adjust for me and I was handed my glasses back in about 1 minute. Did a walk around the store though because the frames are super cute. I highly recommend!

Impeccable service, as always, from David, Harvinder and Florence. I've been using these opticians since I started wearing contact lenses full time in 1987, when I was at University. David spent nearly an hour and a half giving me a thorough and meticulous examination. This included a scan, using the most up to date technology. Although my prescription had barely changed, I'd decided beforehand I was going to get some new glasses anyway. Harvinder and Florence helped me choose new glasses and prescription sunglasses frames that I'm really thrilled with. I'd never go anywhere else and it's so lovely that I'm now being looked after as well by David, as his father, Neil, used to look after me.

I have quite complicated eyes and came to Store Street opticians since the high-street chain optician couldn't make me an acceptable pair of varifocal glasses that were anywhere near as good as my old pair (from the same branch). I was honest about the past experience, and David rose to the challenge and I am absolutely delighted with my new glasses. He is extremely precise with measurements, and communication with the store is personalised and first-rate. When I walked back across Bedford Square I could see texture in the gravel paths I had never seen before. Very happy customer. Thank you again.

This was the best optician experience I've ever had! So thorough and the optician really took his time to explore all the concerns I came in with and do every test imaginable. I go to moorfields yearly for diabetic eye checks, and have had to see a consultant there in the past due to some problems. This test at Store St opticians was miles better. With the moorfields consultant I was in there for 5-10 mins, nothing was explained, while here the optician took the time to thoroughly explain what all the scans and tests meant.
