As I live in a country with no exciting shoe shops, I seek them out when I travel. I have a particular fondness for Chie Mihara shoes and so a quick Google search led me to Spice London. What a beautiful store in a charming neighborhood with the friendliest proprietor you could ever meet. Simone helped me pick out two gorgeous pairs of Chie shoes and I will certainly return the next time I travel to London. I highly recommend this lovely little shoe shop.

Bought my first pair of Chie Mihara shoes there December 2022. Spice offers a small but beautifully curated range of shoes/boots and the manager there is lovely and knowledgable.

Really helpful & patient. Was very impressed with the way my elderly mother was treated by Simone.None of the usual dismissive attitude found in some trendy or high end shops at having an older person to deal with, but instead Simone helped by going through loads of pairs of shoes until they found a pair that fit. A fab pair at that! She kindly assisted with putting them on , sorting out the laces etc - above & beyond.A great neighbourhood shop with a lovely selection of on trend, wearable good quality shoes & boots .Was very pleased with the boots I bought too !

Great shop in Primrose Hill

When it comes to women?s shoes Spice, a retailer run by brother and sister Simone and Gerard since 1985, should be on you top 10 list.Their two stores in Islington and Primrose Hill are in keeping with traditional TSL style ? an independent family run business that started life on Camden?s market selling plimsoles to fellow Londoners. Since then the sneakers have been switched with beautiful heels and more sophisticated flats with prices heading higher. Think quality not quantity which will last for years to come...To find more unique and independent places why not visit the Twenty Something London website!

I have bought a number of shoes/boots from here over the years, and whilst they sell some brand names too (Paul Smith etc.), they also have their own range of boots/shoes (made in Mallorca), not the cheapest, but excellent quality. Dog-friendly too!

A smart, friendly little boutique shoe shop that sells an excellent array of (mainly) leather boots, shoes and handbags. The sales woman was very helpful and tracked down a pair of boots for me that were perfect (high heel but not too spindly) The shop sells a mixture of luxury designers and high street labels, and whilst it isn't cheap, the prices seem fair. The shop is very comfortable, elegant and relaxed and is probably the only place i know of that my mother and 15 year old sisters could both shop in happily.
