I been in two locations on the same day, tge focaccia bread with tomatoes and nduja was great, the bow tie shaped pastry with the passion fruit cream was to die for!
I will definitely coming back!

I?m not usually a fan of pastries, but this café is something else. Soft and fluffy inside, with a crisp golden crust ? absolutely delicious. Honestly, I?m glad it?s not right next to my home, otherwise I?d be eating these pastry every day!
The atmosphere is cozy, the coffee is excellent, and the staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit

I came here once before about a month ago and it was great. I was really excited to come back but this time I was just disappointed. The staff were lovely and service was good but the music and general atmosphere felt off. Mostly I was sad about the quality of the bread. It tasted like it had been cooked the day before. I don?t know what was up with it but it definitely wasn?t fresh!

Quality and selection used to be much better. Not the same since stopped baking at Crouch End branch . Still decent but used to be outstanding

Sourdough Sophia has been my favourite bakery since I moved to Crouch End. The bread and the pastries have always been delicious and the staff are always lovely. Recently though, the quality has just not been what I had come to expect.
I was aware of the problems with the sourdough starter and was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt while they figured it out. However, I went in this morning and ordered a Babka Cruffin and was really disappointed. The pastry was dry and bready, and for over £5, it was not worth the money. The miso cookies also looked worse than usual today.
It seems the expansion to other sites is having a negative impact on existing sites, which is really disappointing. I really hope they can figure their quality control out soon, otherwise it will be difficult to justify returning.

I used to really love the bread here and would treat myself on the weekend but the past couple of times I?ve bought a loaf of sourdough it has not felt fresh? Not sure if the recipe has changed or the new site?s opening delays delivery? I?m sad to leave this review because the staff is so lovely and the pastry is ok. But the bread just isn?t worth the money like it used to be

5* coffee with absolutely perfect milk, which is certainly not always the case even in coffee shops. Bought a sourdough - their loaves look great - but haven?t tried it yet. Lovely chilled and welcoming atmosphere. Hidden gem! EDIT: Tried the sourdough and had to go back the next day to get more. DELICIOUS

Their smoked salmon and schemer sandwich on rye is incredible. They are so friendly, quick and really welcoming. Also dog friendly ?
