We went there just to grab a drink before dinner and the place was very crowded. First, we chose two glasses of wine, which were good but then we wanted to try the peach cider which was not available. The waitress suggested instead a strawberry cider - it tasted more like juice and it didn?t have bubbles. When we questioned the waitress about this, she turned her back on us.

Lovely atmospheric pub and not too pricey for London considering where it is. Lovely point if ipa, the Dr Watson is not bad either

The Sherlock Holmes pub has a cosy, themed atmosphere and serves solid pub classics. The fish and chips were crisp and satisfying, and the chicken Kyiv was hearty. Service was friendly, if a touch slow, but overall it?s a good spot for a relaxed meal in central London.

She was able to squeeze us in before a reservation and I'm so glad she did! The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious! I want to go back tomorrow it was so good!

After a visit to the similarly named museum, this pub was just as memorable. Great atmosphere, delicious food and prompt service. Definitely coming back.

Rip off tourist stop No1!!
Advertise £10.80 for a large red and tried to charge me 11:80 for a medium!!
Apparently a 'glitch' with the till, yeah!!!
Once corrected, I had to ask for a change to a large because they still had only served a medium. Subsequently,I had to insist on a till receipt which still didn't coincide!!!
Bent manager? Or just bent Greene King company policy??
Either way, AVOID this pub for its corrupt and abusive charging!

Only came for a pint. It wasn?t bad for a beer brewed there. Nice refreshing spot and the pub itself is pretty nice to look at.
