Looks like a really good place to volunteer and help keep people off the streets at the same time, was full of customers when I visited and the atmosphere was proffesional. Personally I think Shelter are one of the better charities out there and it makes me feel good about buying things, not to forget they sell a few electricals which is rare amongst charity shops.

This charity shop has a particularly welcoming atmosphere. The stock is priced fairly,not too low and not too high. I recently spotted a mens G Star jacket for sale for £12, which is about a tenth of its original cost. They also sell electricals, I bought a cordless Panasonic phone for £5 but I've seen a bread maker, hair straighteners and table lamps on offer recently.
