I?m converted to Schuh, having used three different branches now (Hounslow, Oxford Circus, and Covent Garden). Service is excellent, and product quality is high. You pay a little more, but I?m willing to do that for the guarantee of quality and attentive service.

I came into the store to have a pair of brand new shoes refunded. The first lady I spoke to was really nice and helpful. The second lady I spoke to with ginger hair and glasses came, said the shoes were non-refundable, and was just rude and using a disgusting tone of voice from the get-go. Before I even had a chance to say anything, she immediately spoke to me in a hostile and degrading way, half speaking to me as she was on her phone, without looking at me. I don't care about whether the shoes are refundable or not as long as im at least being talked to and explained things nicely. It's disgusting that schuh has a member of staff that thinks it's okay to talk and be like this. I tried explaining about my feet disability and she didn't even let me, it's borderline discriminatory. If you don't like customer service then don't work in customer service, simple.

Didn't have the item we wanted in, but told us where we could go try them which was only a short walk so appreciated the effort as we got what we wanted.

Had a great experience shopping here. Was helped by a lovely shop assistant who I unfortunately didn't get the name of but she helped me find the best size as I am an awkward size with shoes. Decently priced, brilliant selection of shoes. Thank you!

Return policy honoured without quibble, the vans old skool shoes sadly became defective after 6-weeks of use, with holes forming inside the upper toe box.Having been a longtime customer of this product, with the above trainers normally lasting 12-months, then it was evidently a design flaw and manufacturing issue at play.Appreciate Schuh Covent Garden recognising the fact and refunding the item without fuss, thereby maintaining my customer loyalty. With that said, I somewhat doubt whether Schuh online would have been as helpful given my last experience when contacting them.

Edit: the team in the head office helped with my request which I am very grateful for. Props to the Schuh HQ.The manager wouldn't accept my shoes to return because they were causing my feet to swell and cramp because they were not the right size for my feet. I had worn them for half a day to try them out and he said they were in unacceptable condition and told me to sell them on depop. I said that shoes shouldn't cause pain to my feet and he told me I should live through the pain until they mould to my feet. Why would I buy shoes if they were going to cause me pain. The manager was totally not understanding my issue and made me feel embarrassed in front of everyone in the store. I also noticed other shop workers coming closer to listen in and laughing too. I felt totally uneasy and anxious in the store and had to go to another store for them to send my shoes to the head office because he wouldn't accept them. I will never shop at Schuh again and I sincerely hope the head office sends some customer handling training to their managers because it was one of the worst retail experiences I ever had.

I don?t think there were enough staff to help swiftly. The staff also didn?t know what a shoe horn is. Pretty important if you work at a shoe store.Shoes are well priced though.
