This place is on my usual tick list for affordable salad places to eat in the city. While other reviews tear down the portion sizes, I actually do think you get a lot for the regular size and this is perfect for me in terms of being full. The regular size is £8.95 and I get to make a salad of my choice. I like the diversity of the sauces and the garnish on top and I think there is sufficient diversity of salad foundations (spinach, rocket, couscous, salad, pasta etc).
You can also choose from the menu of pre- made selection.
Overall this is great place food wise and a balance for value for money. My advice is that it would be nice is the staff were friendlier.
There?s no places to sit so it?s always takeaway.

Salad Junction verdict - Not terrible, not great:
- Atmosphere/Vibe - 2/5 - Completely empty (although it was a Friday at midday so maybe a quiet day). Several laminated Microsoft Word print outs at the checkout and on counters saying they don't take Amex and also not to leave the shop until you've paid (!) which makes it feel less than premium.
- Taste - 3/5 - Surprisingly okay, although it was a salad so hard to mess up. The falafel was quite hard/dry, the "lemon pomegranate" dressing has likely never been introduced to either of its eponymous ingredients, and the whole thing needed salt. Avocado was nice and actually ripe, and the leaves were fresh, so marks for that.
- Value for money - 3.5/5 - This was apparently a large but I would have guessed it was a medium/small. Actually had to check my bank statement as I wasn?t given a price before I paid (£8.95).

Paying £10+ for a salad and the staff were being stingy with their portions. When I asked for more so that it could fill up the bowl (I paid for a large) she said said that the current portion would fill me up. Do not go to this place, extremely rude staff with no manners.

Great if you're really keen on uber customisation of your salad, if you're not then you can get much better value salads at the likes of M&S and Pret. £9 for a carb base of your choice and then 2 more expensive ingredients, mainly meat and 4 less expensive salad type ingredients.

I've been going here a few times and do enjoy the food and the selection but take slight issue with the pricing. Today, I ordered a wrap for £6.95 which includes two deli ingredients and two salad. I picked two of each but then asked for a bit of lettuce, I was charged an additional £0.50, which I thought was a bit cheeky... Won't be going back in a hurry
