Unhelpful and disrespectful staff when nearing closing time.

Once again after only getting 3.2 rating this Sainsbury?s Local is still running inadequately.
As usual a total lack of staff and empty shelves. Again walked as the self check tills don?t work.
I would suggest you keep clear of the mini market unless you?re desperate. But don?t hold your breath as probably want you want won?t be there!!!!
Honesty this place has lost the plot. It really doesn?t provide the bare essentials nowadays and doesn?t offer the discounts that are offered in a bigger Sainsbury?s. It?s basically full of fast food including sandwiches and fizzy drinks to cater for the students.
Equally they have no regard for customer service as some idiot was whizzing around on his cleaning machine at 9pm on a Thursday evening when they?re supposed to close at 11pm, as posted on Google?
You?re not a Sainsbury?s but only a franchise and I will be reporting these issues to Sainsbury?s themselves.

I?ve been buying Wall?s ice cream for years, and honestly, it never disappoints - this Sainsbury?s is so convenient, I always pop in after work to grab my snack, it?s always stocked up!

I thought I was the only who felt offended by the behaviours of the staffs. However, after reading the other reviews, I realised that I am not the only person who felt the same. The staffs in this outlet ARE RUDE AND UNHELPFUL!!
I asked one of the staff nicely if they sell a product, and the staff replied me by saying that it was not his problem.
There was a guy standing behind me, queuing up, and he did nothing wrong. The staffs told him where to stand and how to queue up, and gave him a stare when he didn't follow what they've said, that was ridiculous and just unacceptable!! Store manager, please do something about this.

Woman (could possibly be a man with that mustache) on the till is very rude. Has zero customer service. No greetings or thank you. She is always in a strope. This store needs some training on how to treat customers. The hell it just need to learn basic mannerisms.

Horrible, rude staff who feel entitled and sadly have a false sense of power . We went as a group of 3 (age group 39-41)to buy wine as a gift. My sister in law went to pay and she did not have an ID on her, so I offered to pay as I had my ID on me. The staff member, a short Asian looking bearded man was extremely rude an insisted that she bring her ID from wherever and that if she cannot he would not serve us irrespectively if I had an ID or not. He was absolutely unhelpful and very very rude. Iam sure it is probably the same person a lot of people have complained and left reviews of.

I don?t recommend this store. I wanted to buy beer and had my ID with me (I?m 21). This incompetent employee said that this is too much to buy and that they cant sell it to me. I would sell it afterwards to younger people.
I just want to buy 8 beers for my weekend. Just go to Tesco Express just around the corner. Better, friendly employees.

staff shouted at me and ripped stuff i was buying out of my hands as I was trying to use self checkout, which caused me to have a panic attack. Really not understanding or supportive of autistic people/people with disabilities. I have not shopped here since as there does not seem to be proper training on dealing with the public and I was genuinely scared the last time I was in there. avoid at all costs! especially if disabled! - go to waitrose instead or there is a tesco opposite russell square which do sunflower card scheme. This sainsbury's is appalling and regularly hire people with anger issues who can be abusive to customers.
