My rating is perhaps a little unfair but I was so saddened this morning to go to the cafe and see unfamiliar faces and changes. Sure enough having looked online I see that it?s changed ownership - no more Marco or Claudia :( I asked for a glass of water, previously I would have gotten a cup of tap water, this time a plastic bottle of water. I ordered my food and received a ticket with an order number?but my order took longer to receive than it would have previously with no ticket. Small gripes and I know things must change but Regency Cafe was a friendly and extremely well oiled machine before so it?s sad to see that go.

I went to Regency Cafe on a busy Saturday morning. The café has a classic, retro London vibe that I really enjoyed. The food was decent?the full English breakfast was okay, though nothing extraordinary. Our order took longer than expected, and my coffee arrived lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. A funny moment happened when a pigeon somehow got near the entrance, causing a small commotion that made everyone laugh. Overall, it?s a charming spot with solid food, but the service and timing could be improved.

Recently changed hands. Nothing appears to have changed as regards the food. Same team cooking. Big relief!!!!

Loved everything about this place. The guy behind the counter (the owner, I presume ) is friendly and has an amazing memories to recall every customers names when the food.
Food is delicious and very well prepared!
Surprisingly very efficient service considering the size of the restaurant and the line outside. I?m gonna visit this place every time when I?m in London.

Great ?true english breakfast? atmosphere. Food was not the best we?we ever had, but it was okay for a reasonable price. Worth feeling the atmosphere.
