I visited Pret @ Aldgate, today (19/07/25), and was served by the delightful Fariah A. I bought an Americano, and a berry bowl. I?d asked for a receipt, but the printer wasn?t working. No big deal. However, about a minute later, Fariah came to where I was sitting, with a complimentary pain au raisin for my ?inconvenience?. There was never an inconvenience, but such a lovely gesture is the height of customer relations. Fariah was a pleasure to be served by, and Pret are very lucky to have her. She was just lovely. ?

Urgent Complaint Regarding Food Hygiene - Contaminated Sandwich Box
Dear Pret A Manger Customer Service,
I am writing to formally raise a serious concern regarding a food safety issue I encountered today at one of your locations.
I purchased a sandwich earlier today, and to my shock and disgust, when I opened the box, I discovered leftover remains from another sandwich inside. It was evident that the box had been previously used and contained bits of food that clearly did not belong to the product I ordered. This is extremely unhygienic, disturbing, and completely unacceptable.
This experience not only ruined my appetite but also raised serious concerns about your hygiene standards and food safety practices. I expect much better from a brand like Pret A Manger.
I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter urgently. Please let me know how you plan to address this issue and what actions will be taken to ensure this does not happen to anyone else in the future. A

I was served today by ragi, lim and shamima and honestly it?s the best pret I have ever been to they treated me with respect, kindness and made my day. I was shown to the restroom and given the drink of my choice immediately. I will forever remember they?re kindness as I have an anxiety disorder I get shy to approach staff but they were so welcoming and I wish them all the best!

Service was friendly and super quick. Lots of seating was available at the time of visit. Queues were long but moved quickly.

Had a chicken avocado sandwich, close to no sauce, semi mushy avocado. Does not compare to the usual version at other outlets

Server Moe is pretty special. Keep him at all costs. Smiling, infectiously happy and very helpful. Almond croissants are amazing too.

Good space to eat inside. Nice tuna toastie, not so with the Ciabetta veggie (too many tomatoes make it quite wet).
Awful Yoghurt, thought the strawberry/berry would at least be natural when you?re paying £3.90 for it, but no, all commercially gooey glunky stuff, if you put it close to your ear and listen for long enough you will hear 83 forms of cancer screaming ?I?m coming to get you?.
Guys n girls. Don?t be like me on 9th of may 2025. Get yourselves a proper healthy breakfast, full of rich protein, no mass produced sugar-enriched bread soaked with oiley and preservative-filled tuna ?. No sugar that will cause you dementia sooner than you know it.

Stayed at the Canopy Hotel nearby, and this was a wonderful place to have so close to the hotel.
