I originally put this on the wrong premises. I want to thank Katerina who normally serves my friends and I early on a Wed morning. She is so friendly, helpful and cheerful, she brightens up our day ad makes a perfect start to the day.

Ive made a review before on staff member Jose, dissapointed to see he still works there - a vile individual with no respect for others and lacks in customer service skills.

This café is way too noisy to work remotely. The staff shout across the store and have loud video calls. Definitely not a good spot for focused work.

On the way back I made a quick stop at Pret-a-Manger, a café that offers healthy, organic snacks and can be found on every corner in London. There is a wide selection of fruit, vegetables, sandwiches, sandwiches, soups and small warm dishes. Plus freshly squeezed juices, shots and of course coffee and cakes. The concept sounds promising, but a "healthy" sandwich with chicken, bacon, lettuce, cucumber and tomato made me smile.
I chose mac & cheese with cauliflower and kale, which was really good - nicely seasoned and tasty. Mr. P chose the laksa soup, which was also impressive. Compared to the youth hostel, the dishes are significantly more vegetable and lighter, but still filling. There was also something with ginger, which perfectly rounded off the healthy touch.
Conclusion: Good selection of fresh, healthy snacks, delicious warm dishes, and all in organic quality. 4 out of 5 Mac & Cheese!

A Pret just like so many others.
In particular about this one, the toilet, it looks like it was never cleaned. Every surface including walls look disgusting.

I have subscription and use it in different branches, but never met so rud staff as here! plus dirty tables always! where is the management?

Absolute shambles - menacing staff for no reason! This has happened 3 times too! - I work nearby and most times they have overcharged me, then not even given me the order until I went back and asked for it - then was stared down and frowned upon - intimidating sad poor staff behaviour - needs work. If this happened once I understand someone having a bad day - that's why never put a negative review on. But this was horrible happening 3-4 times. I will NEVER go back there. Hope the staff get some kind of training - if you are so miserable with normal customers, it was really horrid. They overcharged me then when I asked they pretended to not understand. Then made me wait for a croissant for 5 minutes when I went back to request what is the hold up - they pretended to not remember and stared at me as if I'm asking for something for free (AFTER I OVERPAID) !!! It was shocking !! Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
