I will not stay here again. Received email that you could request early check in for 10 pounds. Requested and told to come back later. Upon returning the lobby was full of tired depressed people trying to get a room as well. There was a man who appeared indigent sleeping on a chair in front of the lobby. If you wanted to speak to reception or ask a question, forget it, because there was always a long line at reception. The rooms are teeny tiny with no place to put luggage, no rack, so I propped my bag on a table and kept having to avoid stubbing my toe on the bed. The one man at reception was friendly and nice and the hotel is near Kings Cross Tube. The breakfast was good.Rooms: Too small, bare bones.Walkability: Close to Kings Cross tube.Food & drinks: Breakfast was good.

The Premier Inn at London's King's Cross Hotel offers a comfortable stay with exceptional value for money. The rooms provide a cozy retreat, ensuring a restful night's sleep for weary travelers. The hotel's restaurant serves up delicious meals, showcasing a variety of flavorful dishes that are sure to satisfy any palate. The food quality is excellent, with options to please even the most discerning diners. However, while the food impresses, the service can be lacking in efficiency. Guests may experience slower-than-ideal service, which can detract from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. Despite this drawback, the restaurant's ambiance is enhanced during the holiday season, with beautiful Christmas decorations creating a festive atmosphere for patrons to enjoy.Overall, the Premier Inn at King's Cross offers a solid accommodation option in London, especially for budget-conscious travelers seeking comfort without breaking the bank. With comfortable rooms, great value for money, and delicious food options, it's a suitable choice for those looking for a convenient stay in the heart of the city. Just be prepared to exercise patience during meal times due to the slower service.

Ideally placed for arriving at King's X Station. Has a Costa coffee on site. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Restaurant mediocre with little choice for vegetarian diners. Rooms are the usual high standard you expect from Premier Inn.

Location was good considering we needed something close by St. Pancras. But let me tell you tell you what you're going to get staying here. The rooms were small considering the price, the bathrooms had hair leftover, the towels were stained, there were poop stains inside the toilet, and the water pressure was terrible. Also, there was a middle aged blonde lady who works the front desk that was just extremely rude and unpleasant over a question about getting a water bottle (if I cared to remember her name I would?ve wrote it here). Avoid and find something better.

Ugh, filthy - just had my room cost refunded and member of staff who operates the left luggage is a very disagreeable person - will never stay here again, and in addition my stay was refunded due to an infestation

Location is great, however the person on the desk upon arrival and departure was very rude, zero customer service, unpleasant and not attentive in the slightest. If you would like good customer service and a friendly face then this is not the hotel to stay at. Very disappointed and won?t be returning! The room was ok, but there were hairs left over the bathroom and dust from where the cleaners had removed their cloths as it was heaped on the toilet seat.

Disappointing.. Long queue to check in as the self-service machines were not processing payments, but there were no signs indicating these as 'out of order'. This meant we had to queue twice, once at the machines and again to see a member of staff, it took over an hour just to check in. Once in the room, it was not made up. We were then moved to another room, which we were told was definitely 'made up', to find that this one was also not made up.. Visted reception yet again to be told that they would send someone to make up the room, this took another 2 hours.. Whilst waiting at reception, there was a bucket collecting water leaking from the ceiling. Having stayed here before were expecting a much more professional reception, this was far from it.. Staff were simply on automatic, no empathy for the situation or basic professionalism.. just appalling..

I visited in September 2023The Good-Location. A very short walk from King's Cross, well connected for train and tube. There is plenty to see and do in the immediate area too.-Ease of checkin. Automation doesn't always mean a better experience for the customer, but in this case it couldn't be easier. No queues, automatic checkin and key dispensed immediately. Staff help is available.-Rooms. Underrated. Always clean, sizable and comfortable. I have stayed in many places worldwide at prices 5 times this, only to be disappointed by the room. This is good. The Bad-Large hotels always mean lots of doors, stairs and lifts to navigate. Not always easy for those with limited mobility.Greg's TipMake us of the baggage store. Tagged and secure

Small room, barely any water pressure in shower, noisy ventilation system (?) in the hall at night that makes it feel like you're sleeping inside a vacuum cleaner, no room maintenance unless you specifically demand it, buttons for the elevator not very responsive, etc. All in all would expect better at these rates.Updating rating to 1 star because after this recent business trip my company had to get in touch with Premier Inn to request an invoice and after a week and multiple staff members trying to contact every available phone number, no one at Premier Inn can be reached.

Stayed several times, great for KX trains. Standard Premier Inn - does a decent no- frills job. Will return.

I think this is the best Premier Inn I've stayed in.

The only good thing about this hotel is it's closeness to King's Cross as somewhere to sleep. Don't get me wrong the staff are excellent the service is very good (apart from dinner at the bar and block) the beds are clean and comfortable mostly for a fairly well priced stopover it's not bad.Points to improve- Get aircon that permits temperatures beneath sauna level 19C to sleep in that's not healthy.- get ventilation that works - the place smells and not nicely - it is like walking into a thick fug cross between old fried food and stale sweat and there were pools of condensation running of our room window.- get windows that open - see above.- if you must associate with bar and block take it in house and staff it properly, we waited with 5 other families at reception for 10 minutes and never saw or were spoken to by a member of staff, we called Altonapoli, got a table for 10 minutes ahead and had a delightful meal in somewhere that didn't sound like a cross between a cattle market and a disco.
