The food was lovely, this is not a patch on the taste of the food at all, nor the lovely waiting staff who came over regularly to check we were okay and had all that we needed. This is a real experience that happened tonight, and also a few weeks ago. If you value tasty food, Pizza Express is always a go-to. However, this branch have been unkind to me on numerous occasions. I was due to attend two weeks ago, but was on a bus and it was diverted, so I therefore couldn?t make it. I rang Pizza Express on The Strand to let them know, to see if I could move the table to a later booking. Unfortunately, I couldn?t and they were very rude about it. I was screamed at, treated unkindly and when I told the phone operator to please stop screaming at me, he lost his temper and continued to keep going. I had to pass him onto a male friend, who shouted back at him to try and get him to calm down. The second experience was the manager in store today. She was rude and disrespectful. I turned up a few minutes early for my booking, and I said that I couldn?t stand in crowds for prolonged periods of time due to a medical condition. She seated me within the crowd too, saying that I had to wait like everybody else, irrespective of whether I had a disability or not. People were whacking me with their bags because there was little to no space to get in and out of the restaurant, there was broken ceramic on the floor by the doorway which was a serious health and safety hazard and people were getting irritable because the manager was ignoring the queue of people that was going out of the door, standing around and chatting into her headset and when she did come to talk to us, she had a very rude and unpleasant attitude. I would NOT attend this Pizza Express again, even when you?ve got a booking, the management staff are rude to you. The wait staff and the really lovely food are a credit to this place, I just wish the management team could match this.

One of the best pizzas I?ve EVER eaten, the crust is really thin tho just so you know (it?s literally written on the menu so it?s not reasonable to bash the restaurant for it) the crust is really good and it?s not bad that it?s thin, I highly recommend to get the red lemonade as a drink it?s SOOO GOOD. BUT we had to wait to pay for a long time

Given a nicely placed table even though it was busy. Waiter was attentive. Service was very speedy and we both enjoyed our food. Location for theatre and opposite the station was great for us.

The pizza bases were like razor thin discs of leather and difficult to cut (it's not clear why they arrived at the table uncut). They were certainly not worth the £45+ charged for two pizzas, two dips and two drinks (that we also had to pour ourselves)

Pizza average service poor with rude staff. Wouldn?t recommend or go back. No surprises it was virtually empty.

Great pizza and excellent service, though there was a bit of a wait. The only downside was a loud alarm ringing throughout the visit?not the restaurant?s fault, but it did affect the dining experience. Otherwise, a great spot overall.

To the chefs - food was wonderful! Both meat eaters and vegans at the table were happy with delicious pizzas and sides, thank you very much! ?? To the manager that screamed at them in front of the whole restaurant - it was literally in front of all the customers and made everyone feel uncomfortable (and bad for those on the receiving end), wasn?t a good look.

We experienced a rude welcome. The waitress exudes negative energy. She is unfriendly and not cheerful. The menu looks appealing, but the pizzas are not good. I?m attaching a photo. The glasses are dirty. I wouldn?t come again and wouldn?t recommend it.

Good place. Find a hair inside my desert but was refunded after. This place only need more smile from staff :)
