Paul?s dark chocolate tart is lovely (and slightly buttery!). The baguette sandwiches have good slightly seedy bread - we like the mozzarella, tomato and pesto baguette. It?s a small branch but lovely to take away and eat in the green square behind the church next door.

Good coffee ? and fresh pastries, and the service was friendly.

Kind service, comfortable chairs, light interior with timber beams on the ceiling, black and white checkerboard floor, and gentle French music in the background. The toilet is clean with all supplies. Good late and cappuccino. I normally like pastry in Paul but this time I got a croissant with ham and cheese, asked to have it warm and regretted as it became floppy and a bit oily. Otherwise all good here ? another time I had a blueberry tartine and it was very nice.

Paul coffee near Angel, good pastry (classic Paul), good cappuccino (I am Italian), very clean place with lots of tables and comfortable chairs. Nice harmony. Competent and friendly staff. Internal toilet, clean with wheelchair-accessible entrance.

Loved the apple tart. Forgot to take a photo. It?s nicely glaced, fresh and crispy when I bit on it and the balance with the sweetness of the apply slices is just right. The coffee was also made well. There?s a difference between the coffee here and what I get from other cafe chains.
Both servers were cheerful and smiley, which made the sunny weather a lot more charming.

Made it clear i wanted my sandwich toasted and got it microwaved because they couldn?t be bothered to wait. Disgustingly soggy now.

Served by a very pleasant member of staff. Good coffee, served in a proper cup with extra hot water and cold tap water to drink no problem either. Delicious food and patisserie.

It's a shame they have taken to serving stale sandwiches.

Lacklustre staff who all looked like deer caught in headlights. Baguettes were hard as rocks and tasteless. Also very cold! Never again!

Paul?s has left one of the worst impressions on me compared to any café I?ve visited in London. Influenced by the overall 4 star reviews, I visited for a cake and a drink? all-around horrible. As a fellow hospitality worker I understand that you get tired close to closing hours, but staff there didn?t seem to want to do their job at all?.. The drinks we ordered tasted like pure syrup, and the staff left the cakes we ordered on the tabletop and didn?t let us know it was there. We had been standing there waiting for about ten minutes with the staff looking back at us several times and STILL not informing us that our cakes were ready to collect until we asked. No thank-you?s or welcomes or smiles, just pure attitude. The cakes were also really dry and not of good quality at all. Definitely don?t recommend?. Especially for the price !!
