Aggresive rude and argumentitive staff member. Came in with my wife and infant child . This male staff member was rude and had a attitude from the first interaction. When confronted about his rude demeanor he began being very argumentitive and aggressive body language. Kept provoking the argument and started name calling had to be physically dragged away by one of his co workers becuase he woudnt stop left the room trying to have a stare down and square up never a exceptable way to treat a customer especially one with a child present

Don?t serve a drink you can?t make! The matcha was terrible, overpowered with powder and the worst part is the matcha wasn?t even blended.
Sandwich was nice but we brought 2 matcha?s and had to throw it away.

I have been coming to Paul Holland Park Avenue London since 2007 as I am working next to all my lunches and cafes where there the quality is amazing but sometimes the service is just not good enough I believe the staff where changed many times and not trained enough to deliver a great service.
I have been served today the 14/06/2025 @11:30 I got 2 items tuna sandwich and palmier it?s been given to me in small separated bags with no serviette then I asked them nicely if possible to put carry bag they just push a carry bag towards me so I had to it myself.
Looking at the prices I think it should be better than this

Had breakfast at PAUL today ? everything was great! Delicious avocado toast with scrambled eggs and tomatoes, fresh salad, and aromatic coffee. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. We?ll definitely come back!

Disappointing. My experience today certainly fell short of what I expect from the Paul brand. Tables were dirty and take a look at my Flat White!! More like a cheap cafe offering and certainly not worthy of the brand or price tag.

Nice and cozy cafe in Holland Park. Excellent selection of pastries and sandwiches. The Americano that I ordered was delightful. Plenty of seats inside. There are also several tables outside. Staff are polite. It is next to the tube station.

Paul was legendary in the 00's but now they have compromised on quality while still keeping prices high.
You would now get better quality and better prices from the Waitrose 1 range. Possibly even Tesco Finest.

Coffee cup and saucer had two small hairs on both. Baguette was so hard to bite and the tuna was tasteless. My friend had a hot chocolate which she said tasted watery. 1 coffee, tuna baguette and strawberry tart £17.05. Very disappointed.

Had a sandwich and it nearly broke my jaw. It was so hard. I wouldn?t surprised if I have developed a sharp jaw line after all the work it took to eat it. Not sure if it was a one time off or if the that?s how they always are. And for £5.00 extremely extortionate. You do not pay for what you get. But that?s my experience others seemed to have it better.
