I am sorry to say that I agree with the previous review. The current team on Tuesday and Thursday mornings has a lot to learn about customer service. Please educate them. I have stopped going there, which is a shame.

I was searching Paris for a good chocolate croissant and ended up giving up as all of them were the thick Italian type. It turns out to get a decent croissant in France you have to get away from the city. Anyway, to my surprise Paul?s actually does a much nicer croissant than most of what I ate in Paris. The coffee is decent too.

The food is excellent, as expected from Paul, maintaining the high standards we appreciate. However, I?m giving just one star for the customer service to highlight an area for improvement. The staff were overly loud and rushed customers to place orders quickly, which significantly impacted the atmosphere, making it feel more like a busy butcher shop in a train station than a relaxed café. A bit more courtesy and patience would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience.

Bakery products like croissant and pistachio croissant were just ok. Feeling not fresh enough and pastries were cold & soft. Restaurant inside was very busy so the atmosphere was a bit rushy as workers banged tables, chairs, shelf door...so if you want to enjoy a cup of coffee with freshly butterly pastry you can only visit the France Paul....

Nice shop I would say. But a big let down they don't accept the UK pound as a payment of method, Sterling (ISO code: GBP) is the currency of the United Kingdom and nine of its associated territories. The pound (sign: £).
I would raise this issue with authorities as noticed some other rare shops avoid this. This is disrespectful to the country and it's valued currency.

I?m a big fan of this chain around the world. I?m a little bit disappointed because the prices that are showed has a very little letter showing that the price changes if you consume the food inside the local. I've paid two cappuccinos and two sandwich 21.90 £ and it would cost 13£ if I didn't consume them inside.

Waited outside the door 15 minutes for the shop to open while the staff looked at us several times and only to be told at opening time 6 that they will take another 15 minutes.
Should have told us before so that we could have not wasted our time standing there, counting on professional behaviour of big chains.
Went to pret who was happy to have us.

The coffee is excellent, and the desserts are absolutely delicious, perfectly fresh and indulgent. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service was friendly and efficient.
I?ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great coffee and a sweet treat!
