Cute cafe in Hampstead Heath. Pastries are quite good and the service is fast

French woman serving people with a mouth full of food. Talking with food in her mouth. It's a health and safety issue. If the cafe refuses to address the issue which is clearly her then maybe you care about the law????

Bought a falafel from the Falafel Counter outside and it was served and made with as much love as an abandoned dog. Cold, falafel, runny and tasteless. A shame as the cafe itself is really nice.

Same experience as a myriad of other patrons - rude, abrupt and obnoxious staff. Food is below average, wouldn?t bother visiting.

It was awesome, a trial will convince you.

Anyone complaining about the service needs to relax a bit. It?s a super busy caf next to a swimming pool & a massive park. It?s very busy and they?re doing their best. When they call for who?s next, be ready!
The queue moved very quickly and I was very pleasantly surprised how delicious and fresh my food was. I got a salad box with 3 falafels (£7.50) and chips (£4) I thought it was great value and a good portion.

Frustrating and Unfair Experience ? Poor Treatment of Waiting Families
We visited the swimming pool today and had a very disappointing experience. I arrived at 10:00am with my small child, as the website stated that any leftover or no-show tickets would be allocated to people waiting outside. We waited patiently for over an hour, as the kind security guards reassured us that we should return at 11:30am for a chance to be let in.
However, when we finally entered the building at the suggested time, we were turned away by a young woman selling tickets. She justified this by saying we had shown her the wrong ticket earlier?which was simply a misunderstanding, not a reason to refuse us access, especially after waiting outside so patiently.
What made the experience worse was witnessing a older female staff member with short hair say ?Finally, some normal people? and allow others who had just shown up?without waiting at all?to purchase tickets and enter. That comment was not only inappropriate and unprofessional, but it felt like an intentional disregard for those of us who had followed the rules and waited in good faith, especially families with children.
Additionally, the ticketing system is only available through a third-party site, with a very small booking window on specific days, and sessions are limited. This makes spontaneous visits nearly impossible and adds to the frustration when you try to follow the process and are still turned away.
We left feeling disappointed, embarrassed, and unfairly treated?especially after doing everything right and being as patient and polite as possible. I sincerely hope the staff is reminded to treat all visitors?especially families?with kindness and fairness, and that the booking and allocation system becomes more transparent and inclusive.

Typical Camden afterthought underwhelming establishment, nothing else on this part of the heath. Keep your expectations low.

I'm telling u right now that I would sell a kidney for those falafel & salad boxes. I was hungover and waited outside for 15+ minutes before realising no one was coming, had to ask the twink barista to tell the dudes running the salad bar to get to it. Lazy and unprofessional. Complimented me on my choice of salads. I'd die for those men. Gave me a HEAVY box that I carried half a mile home with two hands. And I'd do it again.
