I visited this store on my birthday to get a treat and was waiting for a server to become available, and as one did, I made my way over to him (as the tills are slightly spread out) and he acknowledged me a couple of times and I was clearly stood there ready, but eventually told me to wait as he then waited for two men (who arrived after me) to look at some items and served them instead. I decided to leave and go elsewhere.

I purchased a whole social today as we had some guest over and always a bit of a crowd pleaser.
Really surprised when the lady picked up a piece, then proceeded to cutting the 2 ends off on either side, quite big pieces and then throwing it in the bin! I personally think it?s good wastage, I would have been happen to have the extra instead of it going to waste.
The social I got turned out to be a bit dry and crispy on top!

Extremely rude customer service recently. Refused to redeem a voucher I had despite of its validity and the item being available. Totally ruined the Ole & Steen experience for me. They used to be quite good but not anymore.

I love Ole&Steen but this shop has terrible service! When challenged about the service they were dishonest. Speechless!
I asked the redhead guy for a social slice offer (free social slice), and despite having some slices left on the back counter, the guy he said those are cinnamon swirls, which they where but with a few social slices next to them. Clearly he didn't want to give then away to save them.
Not a good look for Ole&Steen's brand!

I'm Martin.
Regular at Ole and Steven over the years, Danish Pastries are my favourite. But! At Crossrail Place there is an added bonus, the service, the attention to details with your order, the welcoming atmosphere. All dished up by Sam. There is always a welcome smile, and nothing is too great for her to do, It's one of my favourite places for lunch during the daytime, and Cinnemon bun on the go on my way home. Thanks Sam. You make a big difference over and buyond expectations??
