Ordered a flat white & was one of the worst I?ve tried unfortunately since I was so hyped to try after all the positive reviews. Also customer service wasn?t the best definitely didn?t feel welcomed here ):

Best specialty coffee in Peckham! New refurbishment makes the place very sophisticated and modern. Beautiful design, however it's lost seating area compared to before. Anyway, happy to see the same friendly faces and excited for what's coming up for Nola! As always, great coffee! Looking forward to taste the new pastries too. Thank you Nola for being one of the best coffee spots in Peckham!!

It doesn?t get better in terms of quality service. They?re friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The coffee is really good and is definitely in my London Top 10. Highly recommend!

Nola is one of the greatest coffee place in the area. I really love coming for a coffee especially when they have the sun coming through their window! they have recently went through a refurbishment and the place looks lovely but their food variety has change and there are less options although .. their cinnamon bun is to die for! ??

I love Nola. There's clearly been alot of effort and thought into the refurbishment so don't want to take it from anyone or put down anyones efforts. Aesthetically I get it, it's minimalist and efficient, but the seating Is really really uncomfortable :(.
I sat there for a good while and had to start doing stretches because my back was hurting and it's hard to find where to place your feet with the new tables and when I tried to reposition myself the chair would lift up from the back so nearly fell off a couple of times! So then I wouldn't move much so the chair wouldn't fly up and made sitting even more uncomfortable. I hope they expand their food range again. The brioche I had was OK and so was the cookie. I do miss the range but maybe this is because they've just recently reopened? I get and appreciate the minimalist look, it's just that it is really really uncomfortable. I used to like sitting in and enjoying the food because I don't leave the house much but will just do take out now.

Sadly share others? view on the refurb. Nola used to be somewhere I?d go twice a week to order off the food menu and read my book - hands downs my favourite cafe in london (maybe even the world!) Since the refurb, it?s not a place you?d want to spend any significant time in - more of a grab and go place with quite a stressful atmosphere. A real shame :( Their coffee continues to be very very good though and their new cinnamon bun is delicious.

Went in today for the first time since the refurb. What were you thinking?! I?m so sad about what you?ve done to the place. It was lovely before, it felt so warm and cheerful and was a genuinely nice experience. Completely different now, really depressing in fact. Atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming.
I ordered my drink anyway, and after pouring the milk into the cup, the lady left it there to go and serve someone who had just walked in. I thought that was really strange - would have made more sense to finish making my drink before attending to someone else. Someone else came from the back and ended up making it.
Then, I asked for a straw for my iced latte and was told ?it?s a sippy cup?. That?s great in theory, but it?s impossible to mix properly just by trying to swirl it around. So I ended up with a layer of pure milk at the bottom and a bunch of coffee escaping from the seam after attempting to mix it. Disappointing.
The new seating looked awfully uncomfortable and uninviting, and very awkward, and the food being on display on open shelves was very unappetising. What a shame.

Guys! This place was amazing before the refurb. You had a great food menu and plenty of seats. We would spend about £50 on a weekend on nola plates and coffee. Now it's all badly designed and the seating is uncomfortable. People bash into you if you're sitting in the centre benches as there is no room anymore. It's not great. I hope you change things as we'd love to continue supporting you.....
