One of the most expensive stores in London.They?re taking advantage of the people who need things late at night. Not going there again,Tesco store just down the road,much cheaper and better service.

TL:DR - I used to go here a lot but now don't as i think the shop is likely dishonestThis is the nearest cornershop to us and i liked it a lot - it's a bit more expensive than a supermarket, but that is understandable and it is convenient. The staff are also nice. However, on two recent occassions i noticed they have scanned some of my items multiple times (there is no screen for customers showing what has been scanned so you have to ask for the receipt after paying to check - on one shop i had a pack of salmon scanned 4 times, costing £14.76 instead of £3.69. I thought the first time was an honest mistake, but after the second time i mentioned it to my wife, and she said it had happened to her once. This has made me feel a bit reticent to shop there, and whem i do i only go for a couple of things and check what i'm charged very carefully

Well was a convenient store for me although they do not listen and ignore your requests. roughtly 2 and ahalf weeks ago i went into this store and asked for a £40 e 360 voucher amongst other things such as cigarettes beer and paid a bill of 20. SO when i got home i tried to top up my master card which was the e 360 voucher it wouldn't go through so i double checked it and it was a EE voucher... I clearly said E 360. i then called the store to tell them of the error i was passed from pillar to post "the manger is not here, the manger will be in tomorrow" or he was on holliday. i kept calling until one person told me to come in with the reciept which i did and he said to leave it with him and he would see he could do. he kept reminding me paypoint payments will not be refunded but in this case if the staff had opened their EARS and stopped yapping to one another whilst serving customers this problem wouldn't happen... anyway i left the reciept with the staff memeber and he gave me his number, so the day after i called him and no answer, the day after i called again he wouldn't answer but text me saying he would call me later which he didn't. i called him again again and again until, i just went back into the store 5 days later, he said he was tryin to sell the voucher for me as a favour.... I didn't need a favour i was not at fault as i told staff and to check their camera footage. after another 3 days of him ignoring me i put a complaint to head office and told them they were in breech of contract and they had 14 days to rectify before i seeked legal proceedings. as the store is privately owned and they only carry the Nise name. the head office forwarded my letter to this branch. excately 2 weeks of this whole fiasco i went into the branch and was met by the same gentlemen who had the voucher he asked me if i had wrote to the head office and i said i had done so... He then said there was no need for me to do this and said he will refund the £40 voucher but i will be barred from the shop, i told him fine... he gave me my cash and i left. So just a word of advice if you do shop at York way branch don't complain about the service because they can and will Banish you from their store. Atleast i got my money back. Pathetic petty attitude because staff won't admit they are wrong.

This is a beautiful find! I had been using my local Nisa store down the road but the supplies are not consistent and after many attempts at trying to shop local last month I finally gave up on going into the store and coming out with nothing.A friend recommended I try the York Way branch because she had been there and found it much better than our local store, she was not wrong! It is a little out of my way, but I have been shopping here for one month now and they are consistent, they have pastries all day long from early morning to late at night, I can get fresh WARM bread at any time! They are always fully stocked and I can never not find what I need, I made a Christmas cake last week and managed to buy every ingredient I needed. The store is clean and tidy, great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and some nice Italian and European products, the vegan selection and dairy free options are also really good for a smaller store which is nice to see. The store is nicely laid out and everything is grouped in sections so it?s easy to find what you are looking for, The staff are really friendly and chatty and are always smiling and on hand to help. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and I already have!

I was being served by what seemed to be the owner and whilst being served, another customer who seemed to be homeless was trying to buy something in peace and the owner then started shouting at the man and kept on demanding him to leave the shop to the point where he attempted to physically assault him by pushing the screen barrier between them. As I confronted the owner to stop spreading violence in the shop and to stop being disrespectful to the harmless man. The owner then started to verbally disrespect me and told me to leave the shop. Very bad service and sad to have experienced this kind of behaviour. Even the other people who worked there seemed to be fearful of the owners aggressive presence.
