The opening hours of a bank based in the city and such a busy area are kind boggling. How can you justify being open for 3 days and before you say online banking there are always people there when it's open. It's also a huge space but very little counter space which is what gets used the most. Those little house structures are always empty.

Horrendous customer service. Was waiting in the branch at least 25 minutes just to make a wire transfer. Only one other customer and at least three staff present. One staff member kept telling me I could make the transfer through online banking even though I explicitly stated I wanted to do it in branch. Total waste of time.

My visit took a little longer due to them only having one counter position open. The staff were friendly and helping people who could use the machines. I do feel that the second counter position could have been opened but I understand that they have to follow safety guidelines.

The lady on the front desk (Jane) had poor customer service skills. She said "Yes?" in a grumpy way instead of saying "Good morning, how can I help." She was monosyllabic and I had to repeat my simple request several times. Not once did she smile. It's a pity the Threadneedle Street branch has closed. They were much more customer focused there.

This is a brand new modern branch of Nationwide. I went at lunch time as I needed to change some details on my account that can't be done online. Service was excellent, staff were very friendly, didn't have to queue so was in and out in 5 mins. Very good branch.

I can honestly say NATIONWIDE want above and beyond especially in my predicament and learning difficulties . I am speechless .I am now a member. (not a customer I like that. BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE . I just wanted to thank everyone at nationwide in moorgate especially to the manager I truly appreciate the effort...pps any issues I am there lol
