Unfortunately I had a pretty awful experience with a staff member named Olga at this branch, and it got worse and worse within the 10 mins I was there. I don?t ever write reviews but I felt like I had to on this occasion :(I visited MV Covent Garden with a ring my brother had gifted me. I?d only worn it once and then noticed small dots on the band, which I assumed might be defects (due to the metal being soft and denting easily). I also wasn?t sure it was the right size for me because the stone was sliding sideways quite a lot, and I?d seen that MV can assist with resizing.I said hello when I stepped in (I was the only customer) and Olga looked over without a smile and didn?t return any greeting. I walked over, explained why I was there, told her I had the e-receipt from my brother, and gave her the ring to examine. She responded with ?what?s wrong? and shrugged her shoulders without looking at me. I pointed out the very small indents and she said ?it?s a hammered style ring?? in the most condescending way. I felt ridiculed - I do know what hammered metal jewellery looks like and this looks different to that. In any event, I accepted this and laughed it off. All whilst Olga was looking at me as if I was the biggest idiot she?d ever met.I then asked if I could perhaps have it sized down because the stone kept sliding. Without even looking at me and discussing the matter, Olga found the smaller size, marched to the till with the smaller ring in its packet, and started putting it through the till. When I realised what she was doing I quickly walked over and said I?d need to try it on because although it?s only one size down, I need to make sure it does actually fit before I walk away! Olga appeared thoroughly irritated and carried out tapping away on the till after passing me the smaller ring in its packet. I then realised the size down was too small and asked what sort of sizing MV does for rings - there seemed to be quite a big difference in the two sizes. Olga looked at me like I was from Mars. I asked, ?is it UK ring sizing eg J, K, L etc?? She confirmed it is, so I explained that she might have picked a couple of sizes down, because one size down should have fit. I said I?m a J, so I?m guessing the ring my brother bought was a K? She then decided to explain that MV skip sizes so rings go from an i to a K and they don?t do a size J.The entire exchange felt like it was a headache for Olga and I was simply a huge inconvenience to her day. IT GETS WORSE FOLKS.I ask her for my options and she explains online purchases need to be exchanged online so I could choose something else on the site and ask my brother to have it exchanged for me. I start putting my original ring away and a man walks in. He says hello as he enters and I hear a cheerful ?hello!? in response. I was almost certain it couldn?t be Olga, given her demeanour with me, but I looked up and guess what - it was Olga? AND she had a nice bright smile on her face!!!!Im not sure what happened. Either Olga took offence to my appearance (I have a deep olive skin tone) or she prefers to deal with men. Either way, this lady should NOT be in sales - I left feeling snubbed and then discriminated against. Just a really horrible experience :(

Purchased the necklace set of MV for the first time and received it in less than a week. The package came from London and I was amazed by how fast it can get to U.S. all 3 boxes were wrapped nicely and I enjoyed these gifts very much.

Fantastic piercing experience and their ?new?piercer Frederica was an angel. I felt a bit nervous to get my two piercings done today but she was super friendly, patient and gave me some water when she noticed that I could not find my water bottle in my handbag. MV team on the shop floor was very welcoming too and I will definitely be back when I treat myself to new earrings once my piercings have healed. Frederica gave me a goodie bag before I left and explained the aftercare very clearly to me. I felt in very safe hands and recommend her and MV team with all my heart ??

Wow. I booked an appointment for my daughter for her 13th birthday. The piercer very aggressively refused to do it because her zip card with photo wasn?t a passport or a drivers license (she?s 13!!!). The website wording was ambiguous and I had assumed I was the one that needed the id (which I had). I had a copy of her passport in my phone but the piercer rudely declined. If she had been nice about it - but she was frankly a jerk, especially when I said I was surprised because we had been here before with no id. At this point she implied I was a liar, which is when I decided to leave. We have actually had her ears pierced here in this very shop before with no id - we had to come back because they got so infected and closed up. So definitely stay away! (A shame because the first piercer we saw here was lovely - this woman should never have been hired).

I went in today to buy a gorgeous pendant and, even if you don?t buy anything, it?s well worth coming here for the excellent customer service. The staff are really helpful without being pushy; they advise you and make suggestions but ultimately leave the ball in your court. So pleased ?

My piecing appointment at MV Covent Garden was excellent from very first minute. The piercer did excellent job, clearly explained everything to me, before and after care, and with her remarkable customer service I had very pleasant experience. I would recommend that all girls from this store should learn from her!!!! For me 11/10 stars ? thank you.

I came in and received a very warm welcome from the lovely staff and had a personable experience for which I'm grateful for, given that I walked in without knowing what I wanted. Honestly it was a breath of fresh air from all the other jewellery stores I've been to.Thank you :)

Great little store in Covent Garden. I purchased a pair of huggie hoops and I love them! I also wanted to thank Gracie in store who kindly emailed me (After I had left the store) to say a mobile phone had been left and she kept it safe. It was my daughter's phone! She realised she'd lost it when we went to lunch and was panicking. I just happened to check my emails and there Gracie had messaged me. I'm pretty certain that would not have happened anywhere else so thank you so much for a great experience all round!

Very disappointed in the customer service from a very snooty woman working. I went to MV Covent Garden to get my ring size and try on rings as I was looking to treat myself. One woman helped me establish my size and she was very friendly. I then asked a woman working with long brunettte hair and red lipstick if I could try on one of the rings. She did not speak to me and came across very snobby and handed me the ring. I had asked if I could try it on in the size I had just established would fit and she again did not speak and passed me the display ring? which obviously didn?t fit. She did not help, she seemed very abnoxious and meant I no longer wanted to look around and left the store. People who don?t have the time to speak to their customers and arrogant presence should not work in retail. Disappointing.
