The best place to receive information, advice and support for mental health, wellbeing, financial circumstances and employment. In addition recovery activities and volunteering opportunities.

If you need to talk to somebody, the staff at Mind are excellent. They are non judgemental, they listen, have a smile on their face and the space is nice and peaceful so you automatically feel at ease when you enter the building.

Was literally told that I have no local connection and being homeless was my only option to have any hope of finding a place of my own. Bear in mind I am severely physically disabled also and responsible for an assistance dog. Apparently being homeless just means 'everyone has to start somewhere'. Other things I'm not willing to repeat, mind are welcome to contest it but be advised the moment your advisor began saying these things, I started recording.Just another gang of empty virtue-signallers who enjoy their govt funding too much. Also don't appreciate being verbally assaulted and intimidated by a worker in the cafe- check ADUK and the law, especially if you're working for a charity who claim to help the disabled.Wonder if the govt know that this charity are basically just shifting all responsibility and blame onto them while taking the big bucks tbh. Also, disclaimer- it's legal to make private recordings, as long as you don't intend to share them with the public. However, if what you have recorded is in the publics' best interest to know, still legal. Off to email the MP I go.Edit: today they keep attempting to contact me, demanding to know why I won't participate in their poetry group as I said I would- before the housing officer told me I was not a person and my disabilities didn't mean anything. Again, I recorded the session the moment she began to get nasty, as I have no loyalty to any of them. They should fix their own mental health and stop calling, preferably before I contact community law about harassment.

No one answered the phone, it went to a voicemail and after leaving a message to contact me, no one got back to me for the next two weeks. Then called again, this time some answered the phone was told they had a backlog and would be put on a 'waiting list'.

Have a welfare advise worker, advocacy, and counselling service. Also have other small clubs for people with mental health. Nice little place. Could do with a little upgrading i guess in terms of decor to lift the place up

had severe mental health issues that put me and accident and emergency the following day spoke to this service. On the Friday I receive a call from advocacy service couldn't take the call asked to phone back at 4 and never received the call.I've now spent the last week trying to motivate myself to be able to make phone calls to chase them up.Mental health services shouldn't be promising call backs and then not following through. It has greatly effected my whole week and I'm now anxiously waiting for them to open so I can make a call to them and anxiously chase them up which I don't want too at all.
