A great shop - and so important to visit and buy from rather than use online suppliers. Lovely people, and so helpful. Went in for some bulbs (thanks for your advice!), ending up buying a Tiffany-style lamp which is gorgeous!

Needed a GD 4-pin converter to an E27. "Never seen one" said the guy behind a desk who could barely be bothered to look up from his screen. He sold me a new (looked like it had been hanging round the shop for years) E27 socket. Forgot to include the cable stay thing. Went back, barely blinked again, but found time to moan about the EU. Miserable shop. Avoid.

Calling themselves wholesalers but any time I go in here, they stock nothing electrical. other than light bulbs, which seem to be pretty expensive. this company is a wholesalers, this outlet has no stock level electricians shouldn't go here.

I brought in a broken lamp which needed a switch rewiring - Charlie was really helpful and installed the switch for free (a fiddly job). They have everything you need related to lighting. Very friendly and fast service, thanks again.

Went in to find spurs for kitchen appliances, was sold the exact same one as i came in with to show them its not the one i need but couldnt see due to their packaging blocking viewing of the item, & paid with card. When returned for refund the staff member gave me back the money in cash (£20 note) which sounds easier but ive had situation where the notes have been easily faked so thought that was very odd. Not impressed as the staff looked very unbothered about customers being in store and just sat behind the very large counter twiddling their thumbs.

Super helpful staff, I needed a few bits for a DIY project and they had them all in stock, gave really useful advice and were generally chatty and friendly. I don't know a huge amount about electricals, but they were able to bridge the gap and help get me what I needed to fix my issue.Spot on.

Really ignorant and unhelpful at all. I work for a big company and have an account with them and all the guys that go in there all say the same thing when we get materials they expect us to get the prices for them and refuse to call to get prices so we have to go elsewhere for materials
