Service was super slow. This is a busy branch but service could be better managed. I could see my Maltesers® McFlurry® was ready but it took a good 5 minutes or so before they called my order number! There is a lot of seating but it is not the cleanest! The Maltesers® McFlurry® was fine but needed more maltesers.

Good McDonald's, as in general. There are no negative points, only that there was a bit of a lack of tables, but still very good, good prices and such. It is highly recommended to go, even more so if you are in a nearby hotel.

This shop is opposite the Holborn tube station. The shop is not the nice MCD because the atmosphere was very depressed when I visited it. The desk face panel was not pleasant because the paint was peeled off on downstairs. Upstairs section was closed .

Unfortunately, my first Google review of 2025 is not an entirely positive experience.
I decided to eat at this McDonald?s because it was the closest one that had seating to a nearby penguin sculpture trail. I also had an app offer I wanted to use.
After having read the review summary saying that the seating was limited, I originally decided to eat my meal at an outside table that had an app order table number for it. I placed my order alongside the special offer on the app and chose the table service option. Time passed and I went back inside to try and ask staff about my order. As I did this, another customer swore as he spilt his coffee. This is not what I wanted to hear in a McDonald?s where many children were present. As the customer asked for another coffee, he mimicked me getting upset by his coffee spillage. I was even worried that he would throw his second coffee at me. He went to sit outside, which made me want to sit inside where I felt safer and warmer. Most of the children were much better behaved than the said customer was.
When a staff member finally attended to me, I showed her my e-mail confirming my order. She then handed me my meal on the tray. By the time I got to eat my meal, the McPlant (without the bun) and the fries were cold while the Veggie Dippers were barely warm. I ate it all anyway because I was so hungry. My Coke Zero remained cool throughout.
Overall, the order and table service processes were confusing, the food was of average quality and one customer made me feel unsafe. 3/5.
Vegetarian options: The McPlant, fries and Veggie Dippers are vegetarian and vegan.
Dietary restrictions: The Veggie Dippers and fries are gluten-free as is the McPlant without the bun.
Parking: No parking available.
Kid-friendliness: The presence of the customer who swore when he spilt his coffee made this McDonald?s somewhat kid-unfriendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: Only the ground floor is wheelchair accessible.

There is a staff member called Elaine who very aggressively got me to do a survey for her. She stood over me and made me rate her highly for all the sections and raised her voice when I questioned the process.
This was not charming or funny or endearing, it was actually intimidating and frankly disgraceful behaviour.
I appeal to McDonald's to disregard any feedback for Elaine which is received on their system as it has been submitted under duress. I also witnessed Elaine performing the same routine with a fellow customer.
Otherwise my experience at the McDonald's with the other staff and food was highly satisfying.
