You would think that an M&S store so close to Trafalgar Square and in a prime location in London would be more impressive. But this particular store is not only absolutely bare-bones compared to most other stores but also boringly generic in terms of the few items they actually do sell. The point of going to any M&S store, even one with a relatively limited stock, is to buy quality products unique to that company, not to gawk at an unimpressive inventory found in literally any convenience store. Very disappointing and highly recommend you avoid this location in favor of literally any other M&S shop.

Working in the area and really disappointed because when I was ready to pay the counter said to me the manager is closing the only one is getting cash and my question is .... Why do you close it if you are still open? Really unrespectful. Now I need to go home without food because obviously the time I arrive home all is close.

The store is ok to visit, but the prices for the same items are higher compared to other locations of the same chain. It?s worth checking out other stores in different areas for better prices and a wider selection.

I really regret leaving a 2 star review.
I was however left with no choice in the matter.
M&S is truly a beloved staple food retailer in the UK. This particular one: nothing less but the highlight of Charing Cross Station. I must admit the prospect of a complete reno of the place I look forward to visit on a daily (business days) basis, left me palpitating with excitement. And finally, the day of the grand re-opening dawned!
It is hard to describe my pain and disappointment when I found out that no coffee OF ANY FORM was to be found in their assortment. Not even the dehydrated kind! For goodness sake people! Coffee would be classified as a class A drug if it hit the markets today!! The people need their coffee!!

A mall M&S in a very convenient location for a quick shopping for snacks for lunch. It is quite small so the selection is limited.

Good selection of snacks and hors d?oeuvres and, in a pinch, a ready-to-eat meal, plus dairy, drinks and a few vegetables. And pretty much nothing else.
