Great service from the staff. Took our requirements and designed a great utility room. When we had a couple of issues with some items they solved them immediately, even bringing one thing to us .

Initially a good experience with a capable designer. However: 1) work started three days late with no prior warning, 2) it overran by a week, running up expense for us, for which Magnet has refused to apologise let alone compensate us, 3) items we ordered (e.g. a splashback) simply failed to materialise, and 4) the quote we received kept changing so it was nigh on impossible to follow what we were supposedly getting and paying for. The initial experience and the broadly decent final kitchen are the only reasons we give Magnet 2 stars. Frankly, we would never use them again, and the firm's head office was dismissive of our complaints to the point of being downright unprofessional.

Very disappointed with the service here. When we first went into the showroom they were great. Sat us down with a coffee and tea. Went through it all and designed our kitchen, even came out to us to look at our kitchen. Then nothing. He was never there, didn't return my calls and never got a proper quote from them. Spoke to his manager but that didn't get us anywhere. We waited over a month thinking we had found the company to do our kitchen only to be ignored, like they didn't want our money, like it wasn't good enough. Very disappointed with them. It would have been common courtesy to just say they weren't interested. We took our money elsewhere and I suggest you do too.

My kitchen was delivered with both missing and damaged parts. Magnet refused to deliver replacements. When I contacted a different kitchen distributor to order the missing parts I discovered the same kitchen at the competitor was 25% less!
