I work in a gourmet restaurant in France and frankly it was delicious the quantities were good I had a starter and dessert plus a cocktail. As a starter I had which was really delicious and very beautiful dressing I highly recommend. Then some fish which was cooked to perfection, very juicy, very tasty, and grilled just right. The cocktail was also of good quality. And for dessert the Mont Blanc is very good but a bit too heavy. As for the service, nothing to say, it was very fast, the servers were very smiling and friendly. I highly recommend. As for the price for such quality, it's correct.The establishment is also very very beautiful and the welcome more than satisfactory. It was a great experience to repeat without hesitation.

I was a little underdressed (understatement ), but it didn't stop the staff from providing amazing service.I really enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend going here.

We visited for champagne afternoon tea; the food was good but the service left a lot to be desired and was poor.We were gifted a voucher for champagne afternoon tea and thought that booking this would be quite straightforward. A central problem to the whole experience is that you cannot specifically book and redeem your voucher on the website. This created significant confusion when we arrived; the staff did not know whether it was afternoon tea only or with champagne and had initially thought it was for one person only.Discussions and confusion about what we had booked continued long after we had sat down. Unbelievably, although I had shown my email voucher to staff they first asked if I had brought a printed copy (why would I?) and then asked me to email the voucher during the tea service. Surely there is a more straightforward way for a 5 star hotel to manage this process? The table next to us also had the same issue (amongst other things) and with the same waiter, which created a strange, somewhat tense atmosphere.Half way through the service music abruptly came on in the restaurant through very tinny speakers, adding to the awkwardness.Most of the staff were cheerful and accommodating but one was not particularly understanding of the problems created by the above; it did not feel like a 5 star experience. He was visibly irritated which surprised and shocked us.We were given a smallish glass of champagne each but no more was offered during the service which was disappointing given the price.The food was tasty and well prepared. It is a shame the service and customer experience with booking was way short of the mark. What a shame

Very distinguished welcome, the lamb dish was excellent, one more star for the truffle fries. The setting is very chic, subdued and super intimate, I recommend this address for a romantic tête-à-tê

The service was so amazing! Specifically Maria was a delight. The food was insanely good and the atmosphere and decor is gorgeous. We didn't get pics of the food as we inhaled it!

My friend organized Xmas dinner here. There were 13 of us. First the table they prepared was small, not enough space to eat comfortably. For reservations made a few weeks before they still do not take the details and just set up a table for 12 people which is already crowded.All complain about appetizers. It was soo salty. We couldn't eat it. It was supposed to be an alarm for the waiter and waitress when they saw most of the appetizers were not finished. They did not even ask how our meal was.We book a set menu so everything must be prepared in advance. However it is still a mistake and the mistake still adds charged extra main course to our bill. One of our friend awaiting another 30 minutes while others enjoy the main. We end up sharing our main with her. Her food came 15 min after we finished ours.Booked for 7pm. We were there before 7 and sat down. Staff are disorganized. We need to call many times to make an order.Dirty plate from appetizer was there such for looking time.From appetizer to main course took over 1 hour to wait. We didn't realize as we kept talking.Main course meal are delicious. We mostly eat all of it. Again dirty plate was left on the table for long time.Our dessert took even longer. 2 of our friends were left home as it was already 9.45 and the dirty plate was still on the table. No sign of desert.How come 3 courses menu still not serve the dessert until 10.10pmIt was ridiculous.At 10pm I came to the lady in-charge to inform her that the kitchen needs to prepare our dessert soon. There is over 1 hour gap in between the main course and dessert.Surprisingly the lady said to me that she is busy and not only serves us. As an event planner, I was soo angry to hear that answer from the waitress of the restaurant which is part of the hotel. Really unprofessional.So please don't blame me for giving you 2 stars of service as all of my friends were complaining. I still consider it generous.Dinner 3 courses meal took 3,5hrs at restaurant. And all of us must home late.Glad that in our culture we're not typical complaints on the spot. We try to accept that on that nite as we don't want to ruin our night out. We still try to enjoy our night by talking and taking lots of photos. We tried to make nice memories, but honestly we can't have it all.Restaurant team must do better job. Better system section. Who in-charge where. It look chaos. You will have this kind of situation every year for Christmas. I hope you can improve your service.If you can't handle group booking, then dont accept booking for big group. Very simple. You can just serve a couple or group of 4-6 max.

I booked this restaurant and when I come staff said its closed ( no noticed of change before ) and lead me to another coffee/ bar same hotel to have dinner. And that is Christmas night so I cannot book another restaurant. All full booking. So too bad service there. Too confusing and bad mood in Christmas night.

Outstanding service and food. We went to L?oscar restaurant for my birthday, we received a complimentary portion of prawns, some sourdough bread and butter and smoked salmon as starters, from the chef and they were all delicious and fresh. For main we had steak to share for 2 which was stunning. For dessert we had sticky toffee pudding which was not my favourite. Very nice place with friendly and professional staff.

We have been to this restaurant several times now and it went from quite good to very good and it seems to keep improving. The service we had on our most recent visit was warm and professional. The food was delicious. The truffle rigatoni and the lamb main courses are fantastic. The children?s menu is also good. The restaurant is expensive but at least you get a good quality meal here.

Decor beautiful, cocktails wonderful, staff fantastic All in a historical and sympathetically restored building. Had a couple of expertly made cocktails the bar. Delicious Exquisite as a 5 star hotel should be but still relaxed enough to feel at ease.
