I had a closed Lloyed bank account from about 42 years ago. When contacting the Cheapside Lloyds branch, I was lucky to have Ellen to assist me locating and retrieving my balance. Ellen is not only a patient, knowledgeable and kind person, but also fights for the customer's rights. She had to make many calls and inquiries to retrieve my balance despite changes involved in the computer system during the past 42 years.At the end, Ellen managed to retrieve and refund my account. I can't thank Ellen enough for her kindness and patience. Lloyed bank is lucky to have a skilled and kind person like Ellen.

Went in today, and I was greeted by a lovely woman called Ellen. Now if were being brutally honest here, Ellen has most possibly given me the best service I have ever received in Lloyds Bank. She was; kind, caring, dedicated to meeting my customer needs. To top this of she managed to meet all my needs within 5 minutes of being in the branch. Lloyds Bank do not only need more people like Ellen but the world does too. Great work and service by Ellen. Long Live Ellen.

Teller: I?m sorry, the address on your drivers license doesn?t match the address we have on file in your account. Therefore, we cannot complete this transfer. That is why we always recommend bringing a passport.Me: That doesn?t make sense. I?m allowed to own more than one property. Also, passports don?t have addresses on them, so what is the point of using a passport?Teller: Those are the rules, I?m sorry I have to cancel this transfer.Typical conversation with anyone at this bank? nothing makes sense.

Staff are shockingly lazy.. couldn't complete transfer as my address wasnt matching my id card and was told to bring passport which should hopefully then allow it to work but she said it's not guaranteed. I went into another branch in Orpington the day after and took all the required id, however she didn't even need it and all she asked for my bank card for verification.

Super grateful to Ellen today who was amazing during a very stressful situation. She is so kind, competent and understanding. This is a wonderful branch with staff who go out of their way to help! Thank you Ellen and the team - you were just wonderful!

phenomenally supportive experience at the Branch yesterday, by all the staff, in particular by a lady named Ellen. I was on the phone with the fraud team at Lloyds for over 4hours and she waited with me, chatted to me whilst giving me some water, a snack and somewhere to sit. They should reopen more branches when the staff are as friendly and helpful as that!
