We visited JW Steakhouse on a Sunday night as a family of seven. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table occupied.
The average price of a full meal is around £80. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Our steaks were forgotten, and after waiting 45 minutes we had to ask the waiter. He assured us it would be another two minutes, but the food only arrived 15 minutes later. When it did, several orders were incorrect ? well-done steaks came rare, medium came bright well-done, and a ribeye was served instead of a fillet. The only dish they got exactly right was the lobster.
To add to this, we ordered a double espresso at the end of the meal that never arrived, yet it appeared on the bill.
It seems the restaurant has management issues: plenty of staff were present, but they were disorganized and inefficient.
On the positive side, the quality of the ingredients was very good, the starters and desserts were served quickly, and the ambience and cleanliness of the restaurant were excellent.
Overall, while the food itself was fresh and enjoyable, the poor service overshadowed the experience. For a restaurant at this price point, you can find the same quality of food elsewhere ? with much better service and attention to detail.

5 of us dined here before seeing Phantom. As usual the steaks were amazing and cooked perfectly. The knickerbocker Glorious was incredible. Staff was very friendly and professional. Excellent all the way around!

This was a lovely steakhouse. We had an exceptional server, Daniel was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He gave great recommendations and all of them were exceeded my expectations. The short ribs were extremely tender and delicious. Daniel gave me two great drink recommendation that were superb, the 1830s-Branding and 1919-Volsted were both delicious cocktails. I highly recommend this place if you?re in London and make sure you ask for Daniel you will be extremely satisfied!

Had a fantastic dinner at JW Steakhouse. The steak was cooked perfectly, sides were delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed but classy. Special thanks to our server Sasha- she was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be back.

JW Steakhouse is an exceptional restaurant that offers world-class service and fine dining. They have an impressive selection of meats, seafood, appetizers, and desserts. However, they truly shine with their bartender, Robert, who possesses an extensive knowledge and expertise in crafting exquisite drinks. Their extensive inventory of alcoholic beverages is truly impressive!
When it comes to food, JW Steakhouse is renowned for its exceptional meats. Their filets are incredibly tender and melt in your mouth. They also serve delicious seafood, including their salmon and grilled shrimp. However, I must advise against their fish and chips.
Update: MUST HAVE their Fried Calamari!! So delicious. And their chicken sandwich was very good too!!
Their desserts are always on point and bursting with flavor. Their cheesecake is particularly delectable.

We had the most incredible meal at JW Steakhouse last Friday. The atmosphere, service and food are 5* plus plus.. Konstantinos, Ovidiu and Marius all looked after us and made you feel like you were VIP?s .. thank you for making a special evening ? I also suggest a cocktail in the Red bar before and afterwards just to complete your evening. James

Very nice steakhouse inside the JW Marriott Grosvenor?s House hotel. Service was excellent. Loved the Old Fashioned Bar! Robert made my husband?s old fashioned an experience not just a drink. Filet was amazing. Also ordered salmon. I would not get the salmon again. Sides we got were the chopped salad (delicious!), the truffle fries (just ok), cauliflower (just ok) and mashed potatoes. Did not get dessert. Campfire after dinner drink was great! The Lager was so good too!

Came a few years ago and food was amazing. Today meat was poor. Tomahawk was rough tough and poorly cooked and ruined further as it was smothered / laced in garlic.

Highly recommend JW Steakhouse. The food was 10/10 especially the Tomahawk steak and lobster was delicious.
The staff were incredible and extremely helpful when recommending food the menu. Can?t wait to go back soon!

Absolutely fantastic meal, the quality of the steak was divine along with the blue cheese crust and red wine jus. The cheesecake was absurd, but in a good way!
