Terrible customer service. I took a pair of faulty shoes back today with the receipt. Basically I bought a pair of trainers a year ago but never wore them as it was late September and the weather changed, which was not good for white shoes. I wore them a couple of days ago and noticed after an hour of wearing them that the right shoe had some prominent hard stitching in the heel, which was excruciating and left me with blisters on the heel and am having trouble wearing shoes now until it heals. It was the first time I wore them since last year. I took them back to Watling Road branch and spoke to the supervisor. She said she couldn?t change the shoes or help me because I bought them a year ago and appeared that she could not be bothered. I showed her the receipt and the shoes. It was evident they were brand new. After telling her I was not satisfied with the goods because they were faulty she then phoned her manager, which I was surprised about as she was the supervisor and thought she could make a low level decision. After she faffed around for at least 10 minutes giggling and laughing and listening to something on her phone, she told me the manager refused to authorise an exchange. I asked who the manager was that she spoke to and she would not tell me. I said that I would like to speak to the manager myself to explain but she refused to give me the details. She then mumbled something about Holborn branch. I asked the name of the manager and she replied, ?find out yourself?. I could not believe how rude she was and told her so. In my eyes this individual did not have the skills to be a floor supervisor and does not know how to speak to customers and was totally unhelpful and disinterested. I will never use the shop again and will be making a formal complaint as I truly feel this person is losing the company a lot of passing business. Also the shoes were £89.00 and I cannot even gift them to my niece because I do not want her to end up with blistered feet.
I will be making a formal complaint in the meantime and going to citizens advice.

Excellent experience at Jones, shopping for shoes for a forthcoming wedding. Precious and Abida were excellent - absolutely brilliant customer service, patient, helpful and a credit to the store. Incredibly grateful to them for all their help and assistance.

I am a loyal Jones customers, and have been for the last 25 years with on average 3 pairs a year (90% Jones). About 5 years ago Jones was bought, and again, but shoe quality stayed mainly still there. The store staff are good but online, read below.However, the customer care is appalling. I bought 4 pairs 28 days ago and have only received 2. 1 was ?lost in transit? and 1 refunded after I had to return it because they sent 1 pair of 2 different sizes. The refund was done against my express instructions, I wanted the shoes. After many emails the situation is not resolved and they totally ignore me! It has to be said that they never felt like human beings addressing normally another person, not even a remotely bad service. Then the lost one arrived!

Excellent customer service. Kiri (hope spelt his name right?) was brilliant, even picking up a different size pair of Barker brogues from Fenchurch St. Other colleagues also professional. Nice stock also.

JB has a great collection of good quality boots (and shoes) for women with varying calf sizes, lengths etc. But the best part is its employees like Dwayne (thanks again Dwayne) who go out of their way to find you what you need. Dwayne actually went to another store and picked up a pair for me so I could decide which boots I'd like to buy. I will be back in May for the new collection!
