Visited to try a vegetarian dish. Priyanka at the till was very helpful in recommending I try the thai veg stir fry noodles and very happily accommodated my request to replace the udon noodles with crystal noodles. The dish was beyond my expectation, well prepared and tasty.

I want to share my great experience in Cheapside. I came on Monday 04.08 evening. Huge shoutout to the guy behind the counter (Alex) the calm of a Zen master. He made the whole place feel more like a chill hangout than a lunch spot. Sushi was great, but honestly, the service made it taste even better! 10/10 vibe, 10/10 energy. Bonus points for the playlist ? even the edamame felt like dancing!

Her smile and warm attitude are like seasoning for the meal: they make everything even better ?And the food itself is simply fantastic! Fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The food is always fab. Some GF options and a good selection room of vegetarian options. The queuing system is odd because the tills are obscured by a huge pillar and you are weaving in and out to get served.

Hot itsu food, not a comment on Cheapside alone, is just noodles or rice. The small cup in photos that is only filled half way, is a vegetable katsu curry. Sounds good, but is a half a cup of noodles and sauce, with a sprinkle of beans on the top, that's it. For £7.00p

This was honestly pretty good. I really sad that they don't have these in the states.
I got the packaged sushi and my wife got a rice bowl. Plenty of fresh food for both of us.
