My mother received live in care with this conpany; this is by far the most outstanding one we have been to. Carers went out of their way to make sure my mother was looked after properly, coming early when there were arranged or even going out of their way to make sure she didn?t feel left out in daily tasks to include a sense of structure and familiarity in her day. This is the happiest I have seen her been in a while and it truly makes my heart melt to hear a laugh or chuckle from her when with her carer. This company is truly terrific and I don?t know what I?d do without them

We got a live-in carer for my nan, the carer was really friendly and helped Nan. The carer gave my nan a good quality of life. Would recommend IP Homecare and would use again if needed in the future.

Good afternoon to everyone I just want to say a big Thank You to IP and the Team and especially Natali (Mum's live-in Carer) for looking after our Mum so well - dementia is a cruel disease but Natali's care and perseverance continues helping Mum to have the best quality of life possible!!!
Thank goodness we found IP 3.5 years ago!! And Natali has stayed with us for all this time (apart from much needed short breaks every now and then) a very sincere thank you to All - Victoria

My mum has received very good care from IP, the carers are lovely. Sue has been extremely helpful in any way she can, she always there to answer any questions and gets back to me quickly with any queries I may have. Would recommend this company.

Well organised, professional and good communications.
Set up resident carer several months ago for my parents and the company made a prompt and professional assessment and has provided well trained and experienced carers. Good communication and seeks continous feedback. Better than the agency we used before bysome distance

I have never had to write a bad review as any problems have always been sorted out with the relevent company, and I love being able to share good feedback whenever possible. However, I feel I need to warn other prospective clients about this company. We had the most stressful time while they were providing ?care? for Dad. Their website promises so much, and Lucy (who no longer works for them) was very impressive and wrote the perfect care plan.
However, we were then given carers who did not have the experience and training to follow the care plan. There was no support for them or ourselves resulting in them having to be taught, supervised and covered by myself or my sister in order to keep Dad safe (both physically and mentally). We only left them for a total of 14 nights out of the first 42 and only because we had responsibilities elsewhere at those times; but were so stressed by what we were seeing via the cameras when away, that we got back as quickly as possible. They did not engage with Dad; hygiene was appalling; they did not cook; they certainly didn?t treat Dad with dignity and respect, which the agency says is so important ? they didn?t even seem to see him as a person.
We have both forfeited a considerable income, jeopardised our work situation, and put a strain on our families. The agency did not respond to our calls or emails. They blamed the pandemic for not visiting us, but we were with them from January 14th 2020, so not really a valid excuse.
The agencies idea of a complaints procedure seems to be to send letters backwards and forwards with them making more and more ridiculous and unsubstantiated allegations, therefore I will be sending feedback to CQC and furthering my complaint with the Government and Social Care Ombudsman.
They must not be allowed to treat vulnerable people in such a despicable way. Please read the reviews on their Facebook page and pm me if you are considering using this company.

We had Independent people provide live in care for our Nanna, they appeared helpful however, their priority was being paid 1 month in advance. They also expect 4 weeks of care to be paid after a person has died. This seems utterly appauling when we had sent the carer home over a week before Nanna had passed away and explained we would not need their services, (it needs to be in writing- we had a telephone conversation) we had paid up until the end of the month and now they want an extra £1050. ( If we had been reminded it needed to be in writing we would have done this but at the time we were caring for our Nanna).
The second thing is, we had 6 carers in total, we collected and dropped off some carers at the train station as we lived rurally, we took people shopping as nearest supermarket was 7 miles away, we provided another care agency to cover 12 hour wake in nights and a 2 hour break each day. This was all done to support the carer to ensure Nanna was well looked after and carers were comfortable. Out of the 6 carers 2 people were not suitable at all and 1 wanted to change everything after being there for 4 days. The care agency would send 1 box of gloves at a time and this would take a week. We bought gloves, masks and alcohol gel. The 3 other carers were lovely but please be mindful the care agency was focused on money and not the patient needs. We built relationships with the carers and they could phone anytime if there was a query we visited daily. often the MAR sheets were late and incorrect. I created the care plans. When there was a change in carer we were told late and often had to ask for carer profiles and never able to choose. I personally found this care agency added stress but we had 3 very nice carers Lulu, Niamh and Vim. It was luck of the draw to which carers we had.
It would be interestimg to know who has the money that is paid for the next 4 weeks aftrr Nanna had died because it is unlikely it goes towards the carer that was last with us.
My advice is avoid and use a care agency that will visit your home, check on staff, provide appropriate ppe on time and allow you to look at carer profiles so you can choose a good fit for your loved ones.
