Check in was a breeze and I?m happy with the requirement of room key to go up the elevators. However, the room I got for the first night was disappointing. There?s a lingering sewage smell that just permeates the room. I did not sleep well due to the smell and so the next morning I asked to be switched to a different room. The new room was much better and no more sewage smell.

Beautiful hotel, quiet, close to the metro. Very clean rooms, well equipped, comfortable bedding. Pleasant and competent staff. Hearty, varied breakfast with ultra-fresh products.

Overall, we had a very satisfied stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Accor. The location was convenient, and the breakfast was generous. The sauna is best suited for only two people at a time, and there are only two chairs available. Both the sauna and hammam require guests to manually activate the heating system, resulting in a wait before reaching the desired temperature. Additionally, the showers in both the sauna area and dressing room offer only cold water. While towels were provided, bathrobes and slippers were not available.

Unfortunate Novotel. Have stayed at others around the world and this hotel is tired and seems struggling. Probably the only hotel I?ve stayed at that didn?t have skin cream in the room. Not a single drawer for clothing storage either. Lobby is very small and is usually found in 3 star hotels. Why have a large closet and only include 5 hangers? No drawers and no hangers. Will not stay again.

Smooth check-in / out. Friendly staff. Well appointed and spacious for a London room. Wide selection of drinks and snacks available at the bar and plentiful choice of good quality and appetising looking items for breakfast. Just a couple of minutes level walk from the Tower of London / Tower Bridge.Easy walk to St Katherine's Dock for plenty of restaurants.Nearby activities: Right next to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. There is also a pier onto the Thames for boat trips on the river.
