Bad infrastructure. One of the elevators not working most of the time and very poor room cleaning. Room does not offer a mini fridge and the cleaning and reception staff are rude and have no training in dealing with the public. THE HOTEL MANAGER ACTED IN AN INTIMIDATING MANNER and even with a formal complaint nothing was done, as there is no way to prove these types of situations that made my stay at this hotel the worst of my life. BE CAREFUL, and it's boring.

Why is this hotel still on trip advisor ? It?s shut !!! Booked in 2020 as handy for Wimbledon tennis and stayed there previously, as the tennis got cancelled Sidi kindly transferred our booking for the following year , same issue 2021 so this time Ivanna transferred our booking to 2022 . I emailed in February to confirm that my mum and I were looking forward to finally getting there this year but got no response from my email which was a bit concerning as the staff had previously always responded quickly. Since February I have been trying to call the hotel - reservations and reception at various hours of the day and it was just ringing out . I finally got through today and found out they had closed - apparently my booking was cancelled about a week after they transferred it , however I received no communication about this and have now spent 3 and half hours trying to find alternative accommodation in the same area as I already had train tickets and an evening restaurant booked , which a month before the tennis starts as you can imagine is an absolute nightmare . I have yet to find out if my money was refunded as being 2 years ago when i paid , my card is not the same , so I now need my bank to try to track it . I cannot believe a company whose past taglines have been ?we put a smile back on your face? and ?pleasing people the world over ? didn?t have the decency to contact me to let me know firstly it had been cancelled in 2021 and secondly when I emailed in February this year . So you haven?t put a smile on my face or pleased me , your customer service is atrocious.

Booked to stay here with 4 months notice in advance, organised our visit and activities around our stay, paid for train tickets ect then I recieve an email saying sorry we can't accommodate your visit we have cancelled your booking. No compensation, no alternative offers, nothing. Disgraceful service.

Not a bad stay. Like most reviews have said this is a basic hotel that's starting to feel a little outdated, but the main thing is that it is clean. Reception and bar area is nice and well laid out, BT Sport on the TV (Holiday Inn doesn't have Sky). WiFi is very good throughout the hotel. Unfortunately no fridges in the rooms. Air Conditioning is excellent. Irritating that there are no plugs near the bed. Staff are all wonderful and very helpful. They're currently not serving breakfast but they will give you a 'to go' bag which normally includes a yogurt, muffin and croissant. Been staying here on business for the last 3 weeks and cant see myself changing anytime soon. Excellent location, right next to the tube station and a big stretch of green space just behind it.

Better inside than it looks from outside. Located along a busy road with nearby Sainsburys, Nandos, fast food outlets, Starbucks & a few pubs. 25min tube journey into central London from Colliers Wood

I had an appointment at St. George?s hospital the next morning so we booked for one nights stay. When we arrived the man on reception was very helpful and courteous making sure we were catered for by changing our booking to a special room on the ground floor with a disabled shower! Which was much appreciated and also the car park was free as I hold a blue badge! Breakfast was included although it wasn?t cooked as before! I think the staff had worked very hard at getting the place spotless due to COVID-19! My only complaint is the constant trundling noise above our room which didn?t stop until midnight and started again at 5am! I thought it was the tube but it was quite loud! Anyway I made it to my appointment on time!

underground car park is about as big as a phone box! good job I have a small car, moved some laundry trolleys and squeezed into a tiny space - £20 a day? glad my company were paying. staff were ok, room was ok, quite a busy road outside with emergency vehicles with sirens on passing every few minutes. not much choice of evening meal, very average small curry. breakfast was fair, not overly hot. very average overall.

yes, you read that right I found a mouse in the room. in the morning I opened my suitcase and a mouse jumped out running under the armchair. horrified I took my things and ran away to the reception. I have not received assistance or apology. I asked for a refund but they only granted me a partial refund. run away from here.

This hotel is reasonably priced with excellent customer service. The reception team are friendly and efficient. Absolutely spotlessly clean throughout. The breakfast team are delightful making sure everyone is catered for. The food was tasty . Parking for over 20 cars in secure underground car park with lifts to the hotel. Extra, obviously, but still cheap at £20 a day. Colliers Wood underground station is diagonally across the road . Many shops, restaurants and take-aways in the immediate area . Pub next door but one ( showing six Nations from Feb 1st) Bus stop about twenty yards down the road . So a very vibrant area . I would definitely stay again.

Our delegates said their sleep quality was OK, but we were universally disappointed with the poor quality meeting room refreshments and the curt manner of reception staff, who we felt acted more like security guards than customer care advocates. The location suited us and it was clean but the service was definitely 'budget' in style but not necessarily in price. In our opinion, it needs better quality refreshments and courteous staff to try and deliver what it is aiming to.
