Used Herne Hill Sports for a tennis re-string. They had a good selection of popular strings. The team are super helpful and the turnaround was super quick. Convenient location too right next to the train station or if you live in SW London.

A great sports shop which comes highly recommended. The tennis racket restringing and demo services are as good as any in London. The restrings are high quality, turnaround is fast, the selection of strings is wide and the prices are more than reasonable with a loyalty card system that offers a free restring after a certain number of rackets. With the demo service there is a wide range of all the top rackets on the market at reasonable prices which are integrated into the purchase of the racket. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic to offer advice and help with any needs or questions.

This place is a hidden gem. I demoed and later bought a racquet. Everything was simple with no fuss. Shop is well stocked with top of the range products and the staff is very knowledgeable and polite. I feel lucky that places like this are still around. Completely opposite from the cold experience you get from big sport chains where staff has no knowledge and you?re on your own. Will definitely be back!

Professional service when I turned up on a Sunday morning with a hole for a racket. They had it ready for collection by the afternoon. The shop itself is a haven of temptation; will be sure to buy my next racket frame from there.

Had a great experience visiting the shop today. I was looking for a specific racket as a gift for a family member and called up in advance to check stock availability.Upon entering the store, I was helped by a friendly staff member named Tom. With me being a complete novice to the sport, he advised me on the recommended string tension, grip size etc. based on my cousin?s experience and hand size.Unfortunately, I was made aware that stringing the racket is normally a service that has a 24 hour turn around time, but as I was not local to the area and was just passing, Tom said he would do it then in between serving customers. Had a really informative chat picking his brains as he was stringing the racket. All done within 10-15 mins!Great service, knowledgeable approachable staff. Makes a massive difference compared to other stores. Would recommend to everyone. Worth making that trip out there just for the great service, thanks again!
